Sudoku Joy

I’ve tried to get into sudoku many times over the years, but the last couple of days with this app have been filled with, well, joy. Going through the tutorials and then applying learned techniques in a real puzzle is super satisfying. I’m still only learning, but this is no doubt the best sudoku app I’ve tried.

Встроен туториал (на англ правда), включающий ОЧЕНЬ сложные механики, в том числе с раскрашиванием. И это единственное приложение, где я видела такой функционал. Умеет решать судоку сам, можновнести свой судоку. Уровней сложности - очень много, у меня 4-летка решал на самом простом) Сама я пока до самого сложного не дошла - ещё не овладела этими техниками. В общем, супер! Рекомендую

Хороший интерфейс и множество уровней

Единственный недостаток - нет перевода.

I have played this particular sudoku app for years. Best one out there….until I got a new iPad Pro 4th gen. Suddenly you can’t play in landscape mode because half the screen is off the screen. Portrait mode yes, landscape no. Really? Very annoying trying to balance a tablet in portrait on one’s lap while playing a game. This needs to be fixed.

Lots of options, interesting challenges, and learning mode.

All the difficulty levels you will ever need. The Hint feature can be used to learn from simple to advanced techniques. I love it!

I’ve been playing this game for several years and considered it my top pick and would have rated it a 5. BUT I recently upgraded my iPad to the current version iPad Air. To my surprise the app does not work in landscape mode - only about half the display is visible. After getting no reply from developers I have to downgrade my rating. Let’s face it, a response of “we’re working to address that issue” is far better than no response at all and failing that, I guess have to find another app.
