• study archaeoastronomical sites and sun-aligned artefacts;
• customise your iPhone or iPad screen with widgets.
App features:
• Augmented reality (AR);
• interactive plot and map;
• sunrise and sunset times;
• Save locations for bookmark and to configure widgets;
• summer solstice and winter solstice;
• time zones and daylight saving time;
• easy sharing: save and send the sun path plot and the map, along with essential information (sunrise, sunset, and link to map);
• location lookup by coordinates, reverse geocoding, or name;
• curated list of sun-aligned artefacts, archaeoastronomical sites;
• multiple windows in iPadOS: view different sites at the same time.
Interactive plot and map:
• swipe up and down on the plot to change the time of day, or the date;
• swipe on the map to change the coordinates;
• tap on the date to change mode (date or time);
• long press on date to input specific date or choose time zone.
Note: Never look at the sun without proper protection.
