Super Dangerous Dungeons

Underrated gem of a platformer, finished a few years back and playing it again now.

This is by far the most entertaining free mobile game I have ever played. Although frustrating at times it just adds to the fun. I recommend downloading the game!

As a huge fan of old classics such as Rick Dangerous, Prince of Persia, Donkey Kong Country, etc, this is a brilliantly playable, challenging and delightfully infuriating little mobile masterpiece. It has reawakened my love of gaming! Highly recommended. 5/5

Your average retro game

This is honestly the best mobile game I’ve ever played!

One of the beat games I have ever played it was really frustrating because some of the levels were long like for example the last one so I think they should put checkpoints in some levels but overall it is a great game I recommend it

This game is perfectly hard and addicting, I love the amazing level design and challenging platforming, and the short time in between deaths allows you to get right back into the action straight away. The bonus levels somehow manage to be so obviously hidden but still surprise you when they’re found, there’s even some replay ability to it, something you don’t see much in these types of games. And even though there are ads, you hardly get annoyed by them as there isn’t very much. If I had to think of something that could be added to make the game better, I’d say the ability to equip treasures for small bonus effects like jump boost, speed, or an extra life to spice up Speedruns a bit. Other than that, I love this game and everything about it!

Finally managed to complete the game but it is very frustrating. Not because of some levels that are trickier than others but because of the glitches. Firstly, sometimes when you really need to move left or right it doesn’t work. Sometimes it is probably my fault as you can inadvertently press the wrong part of the button but other times it just doesn’t respond quickly enough. Secondly, there are a few points in the game when it just kicks you out. The first world level 6 for example. Flicking the switch to open the gate and collecting the key can, sometimes, kick you out of the game. I have experienced this on a couple of other occasions as well. Thirdly, the screen can be a bit jumpy at times. Although this is part of the gameplay when you reach the final boss level it is variable at other points in the game suggesting that it is a glitch. I understand the game was not “programmed” as such in the conventional way as it was developed using a game design package where you add components graphically which is pretty impressive that a game like this can be developed in such a way so maybe that could explain some of the glitches. Definitely a very enjoyable platformer despite the issues.

It’s really fun if you’re looking for game that you can play for about 4 hours, has good art and fun mechanics this is for you. I just hope they add more levels.
