Amazing Backing Tracks, sound quality was way beyond what I expected!
Okay so I downloaded this app…not because I have the ‘gear’ that this connects to, but because I was hoping to get an idea of what was offered. Honestly I thought I would get to the start up screen and be ask for info…nope! I was NEVER ask to sign up or give out any info (because like most of us, as soon as I see that, I just uninstall the app, and move on to something else) The screen that you open to, is clean and easy to navigate… (that is a must) Again I thought (“I bet it will ask me to connect and pair with the hardware they are selling…..NOPE! It has a place in the setting to pair, but never prompted me to do so! ( at this point I’m trusting the app and dev) I hit play, and BOOM, an amazing track begins to play, I can go into the mixer and mix the ‘backing track’ and also the 4 PADS The 4 pads are placed directly in the center so you can play these ‘Drum sounds’ there are 9 types of drums giving you a total of 36 ‘sounds’ each of which is in its category ! This has some really cool ‘backing tracks’ that are 100% on point and the sound quality is TOP NOTCH… I love the rock tracks (I believe each category had 3 styles) it may be 4? When I heard the “Happy Birthday” track … I was pretty much SOLD with this developer… iDance has made an AMAZING app, I may not use it for what it was INTENDED to do, but as a backing track for practicing leads, scales, and solos! You can also select the tempo which just makes this app TOP NOTCH! This developer should honestly look into making an app that would be focused on “backing tracks” royalty free accompanying tracks, that an artist could select the “genre” the “tempo” and have the same set up as they already have with the mixer, but instead of mixing the ‘pads’ the user could mix out the first track. 1 “Rhythm” (drum/percussion track) This would allow a drummer to practice drums yet hear all the instruments in the track. 2 “Base” track 2 would be the bass track… if the user is a bass player he can mix out the bass and play the bass track and hear the other 3 tracks. 3“piano” track 3 would be the piano track if the user is a pianist then they would take the mix and drop out the piano so they could then play piano on top of the rest of the mix. 4 “guitar” track 4 would be the guitar track and again the user could drop the prerecorded tack out and play the guitar with the rest of the mix! Maybe have an open track for vocals, for the user who is a singer … this would give a singer a whole band acco
