Switch-Pros Switch Panels

Hardware is awesome however the app and its Bluetooth function ability is useless. Which is a good part of why i bought this. Hasn’t been updated in 5 years and it shows. It crashes every single time you switch to another app then has to reconnect - ridiculous. App is clunky. Come on guys please update this app, this is an expensive high end piece of equipment with so much potential if it just had a decent app. Even though the hardware is great, with zero app/Bluetooth support i would buy a different brand if i was to do over. It’s 2023, this feels like 2003 honestly. Please update the app

Everything takes 10x longer than it should to load. A ton of the options should be condensed into less pages. Thankfully you won’t be using the app other than programming but for the price you pay, this is terrible!

Why have all the settings on seperate pages where it has to load inbetween? Its annoying and very time consuming to have to go back and forth and makes some simple switchnprogramming take a whole 5 minutes most of which youre waiting on the load between pages. It would be better if you could just scroll down for more settings option instead of having to click “next” for the next page. And when programming switches there are only 2 switches per page and for a 12 switch board it took a while just because of the pages. This app is not really in line with the price of the item and its disappointing.

I love my Switch-Pros and have put it in 3 of my builds. My biggest gripe about the app is not having Face ID. The app interface is very sub par but honestly I can get over that. I just hate that I want to lock my switch pro but don’t want to type a password every time. Often, my hands might be super greasy from wrenching and last thing I want to do is type a password. Please update the app!

Ive tried for months to connect my Switch-Pros panel to my phone to completely set up all the functions it says I have when buying the product. “Scan for local devices” brings up a blank box with no devices to connect to whatsoever. I think this is a full on scam to sell a product that has ZERO functional ability to connect via Bluetooth. I personally wish I would have gone with a different company so I could use all the functions of there product. Extremely disappointed in this app and the Switch-Pros company. If I could give zero stars I would.

The app is nice because it lets you do all the programming but it is pretty rough to use. It crashes pretty often, you constantly have to go back and forth waiting for the page to load every time. When naming the switches I would type it in and it would some times do nothing or change the name of something completely different. If the app wasn’t necessary for programming I would never use it because it’s pretty bad. Don’t get me wrong the switch pro as a whole is awesome but the app needs a lot of work done.
