This app is so basic it’s embarrassing. I feel like they were trying to accomplish a “minimalistic” style, they missed the mark by a long shot, it’s not minimal it’s just basic, boring and lacking a lot of necessary and useful features. We should be able to access alot of our important and useful information that we need we need. Chat integration into the app is a necessary and absolutely needed integration!
This has been an easy app for us to use in our business. We’ve had no major problems with it. However, I got a new iPhone 15 and it will not allow me to take pictures. Every time I try to take a picture. It kicks me completely out of the app. I have made sure my phone is up-to-date and that the app is completely up-to-date. I have signed out and then re-signed in. I have been deleted the app and then installed it again, and still have not been able to take pictures. Anyone out there that can help you with this? UPDATE** They jumped right in this and it is now fixed! Nice work Swoop!!!
Since upgrading to the iPhone 15 pro, my swoop has been unable to take photos through swoop app itself. I’ve updated my phone to latest iOS version. Swoops most current version, but anytime I try to use the camera the app crashes.
Apps keep closing while trying to take pictures on the latest iPhone. Please fix
I have had some give the operator their info , only for the operator to put the wrong address in as a pin drop. Had me all over the place . Lucky I spoke with the customer and they gave me directions to their actual location. And in some cases they put the wrong type of job the customer needs also. They put a jumpstart when the customer needs a tow. Then they reduce your pay and consider the service you provide unsuccessful.
Recently i updated the app to the latest version 3.84.3 and i was surprised that i couldn't take pictures i suspect my phone so i restart it but same thing i even tried to update my iOS it turns out its the app issue Please fix it
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve lost money due to the fact that I have to go out of my way to drop a vehicle at a location that isn’t even near where they put in the app bc they aren’t competent enough to do their due diligence and make sure addresses are correct. And once you get behind people begin to cancel left and right because you had to go 20 mins the opposite way because you were told the incorrect information on a call. These people are about as ignorant as you can get. If you give them an address and that address is the same as another place but just in another city, they will send you to the closest one instead of trying to figure out correct drop off location, which most times will be 2 or 3 cities away, at minimum. And if they don’t mess your drop off up location, then guarantee they will mess up your pickup location. Half of them can’t even fully speak English so that doesn’t help one bit. Wouldn’t recommend using this app if you are trying to run a business, you will lose money before you make it and you will consistently be inconvenienced because of absolute pure ignorance.
Swoop asked our company to fill out a sheet with our rates. Apparently they wanted to waste our time because they didn’t really want a spreadsheet with our rates, they had hopes that we would contract with them and lower our rates for them. They promptly counter-offered rates and desperately wanted us to put our dedicated employees lives on the side of the interstate and accept peanuts for endangering the lives of the employees of our company. The lives of your beloved employees, the folks who work as basically knights n shining armor to the stranded motorist, don’t have much worth to the folks at Swoop who desperately want you to agree to lower your rates. They desperately want to devalue your services, and turn a profit on your willingness to endanger the lives of your family and employees for meager wages.
Don’t trust the pinned locations. The app says to chat while job is ongoing. The chat people will not listen then cut you off in the middle of trying to fix your invoice. Mileage is consistently way off. I got one that had us picking up in Oklahoma going to NC. One was a trip is South Dakota. I am in NC.
