Sync EV

This App has never been great. However, whatever they have just done to ‘fix bugs’ has created a worse App than it was before they started. Scheduled time and Dynamic Charging function is useless, as it tells me charging is scheduled for the cheaper rate…but in reality it has actually already started charging the car at the expensive rate. If you haven’t already bought a Sync Ev charger I would seriously consider choosing a different brand.

Recently I’ve found that charging stats are either missing or logged with the wrong date. This is not consistent, however. A charge done on 30th April never showed up on the app, and a charge last night (12th May) is listed as having happened on 5th May! This makes the logging of stats pretty pointless. NEW UPDATE: please get rid of the opening Payment Method nag.

Thanks for todays update but now the app is stuck on preparing and i cant charge my vehicle

Update 4 days ago and the Octopus Go info is incorrect. Car only charged for 2 hours. Changed to a schedule to match the real Octopus times only charged for 15 minutes. Hopefully tonight will give a full charge. Updates need testing before release. Rubbish

Had the App 3 years and it’s reported data has always been nonsense. At least the charge point itself works ok. The reviews profile is so poor why on earth doesn’t the company sort themselves out????

It just does what it supposed to do. The app even works on Apple Silicon macs and connecs to your home wifi with no issues.

The system constantly disconnects from the car and the only way to reset it is to physically unplug the car. Does not hand fluctuations in power at all, which every home will have as you turn TVs, kettles, microwaves on and off.
