When it works it works fine, but for some reason if you try to use the app a second time after you finished a first session, it will just not work at all, you go to the star alignment and it will go to a completely wrong area and possible hurt your equipment by trying to make it go below the horizon. I’ve tried the reset alignment button and it just doesn’t do anything So if you got it to work once but not again, I would try to reinstall the app Also the design of the app is very weird, you’d imagine ‘polar scope’ (a critical piece of alignment) would be in alignment but it’s in : Utility, Advanced, Polar Scope ? And of course the aforementioned issue where it fails to completely reset alignment

If the app loses connection mount stops tracking, this is in iOS 18.1. Not sure what’s happening but worked find in previous OS. When you reconnect the scope shows no tracking

Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS is not in the database after updating. Very disappointing and frustrating. The “ comet of the century “ and the app says nope can’t find it.

As soon as I want to enter coordinates to a User Object the app will freeze. This did not happen before!!! Is there a way to get an older app version??

Wifi connection shows good in phone settings but app will not connect with no device found error. Network is selected for connection type in app. At this point absolutely useless.

Sometimes it tracks, sometimes it doesn’t. Hard to tell why because it is hard to tell when it is tracking. Make the app pretty useless.

This app has worked wonderfully no delay zero issues I’m not sure why the other reviews all complain of crashing or it just not working they might have older phones or wrong iOS this is an iPhone 15 at IOS 17. Works like a charm

I’m trying to align my new AZ GTI mount with this app. It won’t register taps to confirm manual star alignment. Imagine my frustration that I buy a new $500 mount and the developers can’t even take the time to code the iPhone app properly to register taps on a button on the screen?!

This would be really great.. if it worked, but it will not align properly. I’ve tried every alignment option on the app, I’ve watched every YouTube video on it and read the very vague instructions that came with it. It will move and point the mount but it’s never on target, not even close. Like atleast 1 or 2 closed fists off target. This basically makes the mount useless and now I’m at a $400 loss. Idk what to do with it now.

Unreliable and buggy. Works fine sometimes, other times it won’t align or connect to the mount. Very disappointing for such a large ubiquitous app that is used by so many telescope mounts.
