Dear Behringer, The app only works in portrait mode… Seriously ? Show me ONE musician who uses his iPad in portrait mode. This is just plain lazy programming. I’ll still give the app 2 stars because the Mac version of Synthtribe bricked my TD-3 and this app was able to update it to get it working again. But for daily use: not useable.

It would be good if it was updated so it can be used with jt4000 micro and PRO VS mini?

It’s so far behind the release schedule that it’s almost pointless. Seriously needs an update to include things like the Pro-800, Solina, Toro, Brains. When it works it works well, auto detecting and updating to suit.

Seems Behringer no longer updated the app

Tried plugging pro 800 into Mac. No device detected. Read on a forum it might work for iPad. Bought a cable specifically for this. No device detected. Annoyed

I find this app so easy to use, it picks up instantly the synth that is plugged in. Never had any issues with updating firmware. Using the iPad is much easier than using my Windows laptop to do the firmware upgrades. My only criticism is no instructions on how to use the sequencer part of the app. If anyone could direct me to instructions to use this I would be very grateful. When is this app going to get an update. It would be really helpful if the Neutron could be used with this app.

like myself. It connects directly to the Crave with ease. There are a couple things missing that can be found on the desktop version but all the important things are there. My only gripe is that it doesn’t turn to landscape view when rotated. Gravitas from the Beepstreet Forum. Thank you.

Originall all this app did for me was say no device connected when run on iPad Air connected to a Crave. I therefore updated Crave to latest firmware using a PC instead. However I’ve solved the issue now by using a (not widely available) lightning-to-USB-B cable rather than a lightning-to-USB-A cable and USB-A-to-USB-B adapter. I hope that helps anyone else that is thinking of using the App. Being able to access settings and also the sequencer is useful and updating firmware will no longer require me to use a laptop.

New iPad Air obviously hasn’t been tested with this app by either Apple or the app developer as you can’t get past the first screen due to the yellow button not being accessible. Very poor, fundamental issue.
