Ich finde den Synth ganz ok. Die Anordnung ist für das iPad gut gewählt. Die Bedienung des Presets Menü ist sehr bescheiden. Wenn das Presets Menü überarbeitet wird, dann gibt es auch 5 Sterne.

Save und Loadfunktionen sind der Graus. Die Presets sind auf dem iPad schwer zu treffen und saven kann ich im Standalonebetrieb gar nicht. Bitte nachbessern, dann gern volle Sterne.

Ich kenne den Synth bereits vom Mac und habe gestern die App gekauft, um sie hauptsächlich als AUv3 in Drambo nutzen zu können. Vom Klang her gibt es keinen Grund zum Meckern. Leider merkt man der App an, dass sie eher leidenschaftslos auf das iPad portiert wurde. Das beginnt beim hässlichen App-Icon und endet bei der grauenhaften Skalierung, sobald das Keyboard eingeklappt wurde. Noch mehr Kritik verdient der sehr umständlich zu bedienende und unübersichtliche Preset-Browser, der anscheinend 1:1 von der Desktop-Version übernommen und nicht an die Erfordernisse eines Tochscreens angepasst wurde. Da das letzte Update (Stand heute) acht Monate her ist, hoffe ich, dass die App noch mal ein vernünftiges Facelift erfährt. Dann bekommt die App auch volle Punktzahl von mir. Ich habe kurzzeitig daran gedacht, die App zurückzugeben, gebe ihr aber nun doch eine Chance, da der Entwickler bei seinen Plug-ins für Mac und PC sehr gute Qualität zum fairen Preis liefert.

Grundsätzlich finde ich den Sound und die Haptik sehr gut, deswegen 5 Sterne für einen guten Synth. Nachbesserung ist im Bereich der Anwahl der Presets und der Bildschirmtastatur notwendig. Hier hängt die Tastatur oder sogar ein Flimmern der Menüs bei der Anwahl.

so I can finally take my 106 with me to the lake 😊. Sounds amazing, I have the original at home and this app gets really, really close. Recommended if you want that 80ties sound. Two very minor things: the switches are a bit difficult to "grab", and I'd like to type the bpm with numbers, not a slider. But 100 % and 5 stars anyway.

Der erste Eindruck nach ist richtig toll! Klang passt, klingt analog und 80er mäßig. Absolute Kaufempfehlung. Einbindung in Cubasis mittels AU funktioniert. Der zweite Eindruck ... TOP!

Great sounding synth, but the missing save option in auv3 makes it hard to use within daw.

I’ve bought others, romplers, synths that are supposedly do it all, moog-type clones, and other "modeled" hardware. TAL-UNO-X is the one that I always come back to. It fits in the mix with other players. Gives that swirling analog bed of pads. Can make "that" synth brass sound that isn’t midi, or harsh, or trying too hard to sound like real brass. TAL can be swirly, squishy, or searing. And of course, it sounds like a Juno (which has seen a nice resurgence with synthwave). Buy it. Pair it with a nice reverb. You won’t regret it. TAL, if you’re reading PORT THE JUPITER!!!!

I owned a 106 back in the day, and Tal U-No sounds spot-on (though technically it's intended to emulate its predecessor). A straightforward synth that's all sweet spots and simplicity, but it's got some nice additions including delay and reverb. I'd love to see other Tal synths on iPadOS though I've heard nothing about any movement on that front. At least we got U-No. it's boss.
