Talkatone: WiFi Text & Calls

I can’t send a picture on my Talkatone app, after I did a monthly subscription I need a solution now

The official may disable your account even you still have credits in your account!

Suddenly stopped working for me and is telling me my account is unauthorised/disabled. I rely on this app to keep in contact with friends & family who are technophobes or refuse to use other phone & messaging apps because of privacy & security concerns. I also use it for several important things and I’ll be shafted without a working US phone number. I’ve emailed support gotten a lacklustre reply telling me “This install of Talkatone is corrupted or outdated. Please download the latest version from the App Store/Play Store and try again.” I don’t see a way to do that because the install is still in the cloud despite me deleting the app after turning off the back-up. In addition, the “NOTE: Using a VPN or the same network associated with other accounts will result in being banned. Additionally, please note that creating multiple accounts is not supported.” at the end of the support message was unnecessary and a turn off since it suggests malfeasance on my part which is categorically untrue.

I’ve used this app for 10 years. As of January 5 2025, the app just stops working. Customer service is useless. Lost my credits. Can’t ever connect. Reinstalled. Says my account is unauthorized. Put in my US number, says invalid. I’ve reported this to their support team 3 times. I get a form email. They also deducted my points due to non use. This used to be a nice service. It is completely undependable for me.

Hey can someone tell me what an outbound message means

Do not use! Extreme security risks allowed my number to be used for multiple accounts! They confirmed this and refused to fix or reactivate my account. Talkatone inc contracts there numbers from onvoy spectrum llc this is why onvoy was able to confirm my number and they sent an email to the case manager of Talkatone inc I’ve been using talkatone since google was still allowing 3rd party routing calls and now they’ve cancelled my account or have stopped working all together. I don’t use a vpn I live in the USA and I haven’t done anything wrong or different from when I first started my account. I even have $21 of credit on the account and pay the monthly fee. No support They have been disabling tons of accounts for no reason don’t give refunds and don’t have customer support services Still no response from customer support I am waiting to hear back after calling onvoy spectrum llc who talkatone contracts their services

This Talk atone is the best telephone app. Out there .I use it all the time, and I really enjoy it FANTASTIC. All I can say is try it you’ll love it the sound quality is great! Thank you Darryl Seeley

I’ve contacted yall on support already about 5 times recently. I sent like 2/3 support inquiries today. But I’ve sent about 3 just like 3/4 days ago and have not received any response nor any help nor was anything resolved the only other thing I’ve received was this following email each time the subject title says-“Talkatone Support Not Authorized [Please do not Reply]” then the message says-“Hello, Thank you for your email and interest in Talkatone. Are you on a public WiFi network? Or have you used the same device and/or WiFi network to create or sign into other Talkatone accounts? We believe that your network was blocked from connecting to our servers. In order to register or sign Into your account with Talkatone, you will have to connect to a different network and/or use a different device; and follow our registration/sign-In process from there. NOTE: Using a VPN or the same network associated with other accounts may result in being locked out. Additionally, please note that creating multiple accounts is not supported.” However on my 1st or second attempt to contact support I’ve followed up on the inquiry support ticket and answered it. I’m using my cellular data. I have not used the same device to my knowledge to make another account. Also I don’t have a VPN that’s on. However I did try resigning in on another device because I don’t see an option nor how to sign out the account to try and resign in. it was saying my account is disabled. And it exactly said -“Your Talkatone account is disabled.” Also I attempted to make a new one with the exact email and it said -“An account attached to this email address is inactive.” When I open the app and it try’s to connect I get the exact following messages telling me to contact support and or to resign in and it exactly stated the following -“Login Failed Your account is not authorized. Please log in again. ＞ Contact Support OK “ and how an I suppose to try and resign in when there is no option to log out like I even stated about trying to log in on a different device and got that message about it being disabled. I need it fixed thanks

I have been using this app for 5 years and never experienced any problems until now. I’m being charged, but it’s states my account is not authorized, and I can’t fail out, text or receive calls. I have reached out for support several times and have not received any response. Please fix! Thanks Update 2/19/25 I received the following message from Talkatone: ​ Hello, Thank you for your email and interest in Talkatone. Unfortunately, your account was closed because we didn't receive an email confirmation within one year from the time of registration, you have previously closed your account, your account was banned for violating our terms of use, or your account was created from a country/region where Talkatone is not offered. This doesn’t make no sense! Not only did I not receive any email confirmation but I have been using this app with the same phone number for 5 years!! So how I fail to respond within one year??? Crazy… And I am in the US where this app is offered. Y’all really caused an inconvenience in my business.
