Had this app on old iPad for 2 years. On restoring the app on a new iPad, we are disgusted to realise we need a monthly subscription for the voice now. So Mr. Developer, a aac app without a voice is a waste of time and money,!Too bad, we are leaving n you lose…..
Incredibly messed up and unethical to add a subscription for someone’s voice. A human right. I am so lucky I bought this before the subscription model was added or I wouldn’t have communication. No way disabled people can afford the subscription, especially with disabled peoples government assistance in every country getting less and less.
It’s extremely disappointing that you’ve now made this a monthly subscription for the voice but also the additional page sets.
Hey my son has celapussy and without td snap it helped me as a single mum to talk and play AAC is hard for my son love ya

Lots of potential with this program but it is incredibly unreliable in loading up and crashes constantly.
We purchased the ipad app when it was a one time purchase. Now with every update speech is disabled and a subscription is pushed. We also own a full TD SNAP device from this company that our county health department paid for. This is the 8k plus device. That is also supposed to come with two ipad activations. Those also do not work. Today they released an update on all devices. My non-verbal daughter had all her devices disabled at once when they all forced an update. Even her 8k dollar device (with is just a low powered windows 11 tablet with a heave duty case and speakers) stopped working. This company has an absolutely terrible business model. If we could start over we would. We tell other parents in our support group who are looking at devices to NOT do business with Tobi Dynovox. They are not a family friendly company. We essentially bought a small car in dollar amounts from them. One that stops you from driving your car at every refill of the gas tank. How quick would this wind up in legal land if auto manufacturers treated their customers the same way? They make Microsoft look like saints.
Today we accidentally deleted the app and on reinstall we discovered we now have to have a subscription for our non verbal son to talk thank dynavox. Probably won’t refund our money our money we paid when it was a OTP

Like everything else in the USA this inflation is ridiculous, and these developers are on board with taking every cent from families who need the help. My son is nonverbal and he uses this app but it constantly signs him out requiring me to troubleshoot. On top of that they FORCED USERS INTO A SUBSCRIPTION, why not sell the app like before? All these reviews & comments all saying the same. Shame on you.
