Teleport—Thrift Fashion

I don’t usually use the app but when I do I find some of the most gorgeous outfits. I sometimes get on the app just to find outfits for school lol

Just started using Teleport and it’s interesting, I love that it’s founded by women and you can really see how the community on there is women supporting women. It’s great to see everyone's outfits and even be able to buy what they’re styling. As a seller I have a bit of a hard time posting at times it glitches but other than that I love the app. Excited to see how it will grow. :)

They have a feature where you can sync your depop so you don’t have to make new listings on their app but it doesn’t work. It’s supposed to update when listings sell on other platforms but it’s very delayed so make sure to message the seller before ever buying anything. I’ve had a few purchases fall through for this reason because sellers on this platform don’t keep up to date with their listings. There should be an option where you can cancel the order if it hasn’t shipped in 5 days. It’s glitchy, hard to use, and not very reliable. Until they add some upgrades to make it more user friendly I unfortunately will not be using this app. Suggestions: fix the syncing problem, take listings off that are inactive, make inactive accounts non visible, make an option where buyer can cancel after 5 days if item has not shipped, make the search engine more efficient.

I really miss when this app was just a lookbook app. There wasn’t - and still isn’t, imo - anything like it at the time, and it was fun to show off my outfits without the pressure of looking perfect like there is on Instagram or on tiktok. Now there’s pressure to sell the items you’re wearing in the video and just - ugh. I already have several thrifting apps that I use and prefer. What happened to the old app?

I downloaded Teleport over a year ago and instantly loved it. It was so fun seeing everyone’s outfits and posting my own. The community was amazing and I made a few friends from it. Soon after, the app went through some major changes; the most important being the focus of the app. It turned from posting OOTD’s to another version of Depop. As soon as the whole thrifting option became available, no one was posting outfits anymore. My feed became full of videos advertising single clothing items that weren’t even styled or put with other similar items. Video after video, I saw someone’s clothes laid out on their bed waiting to be sold. I stopped using it after this because I only cared about seeing outfit inspiration, kind of like Pinterest. It also removed the option to add clothing items to your closet without having to sell anything. If someone wanted to know where I got an item, I would be able to tag it in the video with a link to buy it. Now, I need to take a picture of it and describe it as if it was being sold. I honestly wish Teleport could go back to the way it was but I know that many people use it for thrifting now, so I will probably just stop using it.

I’d rather pay the 5% depop buyers fee than use this app again tbh

My Teleport style bundle was wonderful! A lot of the pieces were things I was looking for in my capsule closet finds. Overall, I’m excited to use the platform more! More specifically, I want to look into style bundles more on the app.

you guys deleted my review and i never got back from you guys. i ordered from this app and it logged me out when i payed with my money and now i cant check the status of my item which i will probably never get. so disappointed i trusted this app when i saw it on tiktok

I give this app ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I have been an ebay seller for 20 years, I have been waiting for a selling site like this one. I already told my Daughter and Fiancé about it. Very cool, very fun! Hope this Teleport soars and blows away Poshmark/Mercari/Whatnot!

This app is great and it’s better than Posh-mark or any store like that, it’s so easy to add stuff and sell stuff on this app plus I like how there are ways you can get $10 TC cash (teleport cash) but this app is great. Although one thing I don’t like about it is that sometimes it’s a bit laggy but I like this app! -amelie
