Terminology is a browser for the English language – part dictionary, part thesaurus and part research tool. Terminology makes it easy to explore words and phrases, diving down to more and less specific terms - accessing the web and other apps for more detail and sharing.
More than a dictionary, Terminology can be extended with custom actions to search the Internet and other reference apps – making it a great place to start all your searches.
Use the share extension to select text anywhere, in any app, and look it up in Terminology.

Great iOS dictionary

Really like this despite the US-centric spelling. I use the favourites and spoken term features all the time and the history, extension actions etc. are very useful too. The design is appealing and functional despite its lightweight appearance. The free Mac dictionary from the developer's site is a nice bonus.

Nothing dishonest in this app

This app is exactly as advertised. Nothing too fancy, everything works. For anyone concerned about a review here that claims the definitions are somehow biased, I can guarantee you that this will not impact you in the slightest. Definitions appear every bit as clear and useful as any other similar source. Perfect app for what it is.

been using this app since version 1.0 – in fact, I was their first customer believe it or not. for this reason, I thought it would be unethical to post a review since I had an unfair advantage over most people: I’ve been able to use this app a lot longer than them and therefore would have more to say about it. as you can tell, it’s very difficult to write a meaningful review anymore. the whole notion defies logic these days. so here’s the deal: you can try this app out and see if it does what you hope it can do, or just walk away now and forget about it entirely. whatever you do—
