Not always perfect text from a photo- even a good one- but still very useful in a range of situations. Would love the lense to be larger -right now it’s square and can’t fit in a rectangular page very well. Eg. I need to take another picture for the other 3rd of the book page I want turned into text

That’s not perfect, but I got it to work for me.

The app shows it’s free but if you actually want to use it for OCR purposes, it’s $3.99. Switch and bait; just state it is a paid app. Used the OCR function and it removes the formatting. Therefore plan on spending significant time re-formatting. The accuracy of the text capture is about 80%.

It would be better if there were more options to add Pictures to the Text or to add the text to my other Apps. I have to Copy, Paste everything.

I paid for this app because it was simple and did not require a subscription. I read other reviews indicating it was a reliable app. Even after paying the results were appallingly bad. Trying to convert an image or capture text from something is absolutely a nightmare. You’ll spend more time cleaning up text. It doesn’t even capture whole words. You have to revise and edit the entire thing. It’s a waste of time. You could just retype the text quicker. I want my money back. I’m angry that I paid for this and there is no recourse. It’s a scam. If it was free it might be okay but for $4 is not worth it at all.

Only lets you capture a very small amount of text and unless you pay for the app you can't even do most things on it. Don't bother trying to scan the text because it'll come out sounding like 5 languages, taking a picture works better but you can't even crop what you want properly

Please realize that this app has ZERO UTILTY unless you pay the $3.99 they’re asking for it. You can “demo” the capture, but you can’t copy, share, or do a n y t h i n g with the text without paying first.

please optimize for ipad : support rotate screen, ipad split screen, Stage Manager and please add persian (farsi) language
