Waste of time now
It was great when they automatically converted cubie coins to crypto. There’s no way now to convert to any currency and it’s been that way for a very long time. Don’t waste your time, it’s become a scam.

It says you need to be nine but you need to be 16
At first, I had difficulty figuring out what to do. You really can’t play it unless you’re moving around which is the whole point. It’s as much a fitness app as a trivia one. If you put in the effort to actually walk (or run), it’s awesome and the trivia keeps it really interesting.
I live in NYS and downloaded this game years ago. Accumulated a bunch of BTC and ETH and was never able to cash it out. Now have 421,000 of whatever the coins are that are basically worthless. Terrible customer service on what the plans were to reward players in my area that were early playing game and earning. Now the game isn’t even a play to earn. Wouldn’t waste time with it.
A video game that doesn’t make you a couch potato! And it’s fun. I like the real world overlay and on top of the Cubieverse as well as the play to earn rewards aspect. Also like that you can do it anywhere. Makes exploring a new city fun.
Formerly known as ‘Coin Hunt World,’ the game initially embraced a ‘play-to-earn’ approach, but this model wasn’t financially sustainable. It has since undergone a rebranding and is now known as ‘Cubiverse.’ This rebranding signifies a shift away from its original ‘play-to-earn’ model towards a more ‘pay-to-play’ style, with plans to reintroduce certain play-to-earn elements in the future. Nonetheless, the game remains promising and holds significant potential for future growth. In the pipeline, the game intends to provide monetary rewards, although in a less lucrative manner than before. Additionally, the development team plans to integrate NFTs, allowing users to buy and sell in-game assets on the blockchain (outside of iOS, unless there are changes in Apple’s policies). Gameplay: Think of Cubiverse as a fusion of PokemonGo, Stepn, and Upland. Several areas require improvement: 1. WifiToCellular: The game should seamlessly switch between Wi-Fi to cellular without necessitating app relaunches. This feature is standard in geolocation games and should be addressed to prevent app crashes, which may have contributed to negative reviews like Jose0509’s. All other geolocation games do this. 2. Keys for Walking: Given the game’s shift towards pay-to-play, improving the walking rewards system is essential. Studying Stepn as an example of integrating walking/running for in-game rewards would be highly beneficial. 3. Tutorial: While maintaining a clean UI is important, consider implementing a UI button that provides basic in-game tooltips to assist newer players who may struggle with the game’s mechanics. Don’t let this be your downfall. 4. Crystal Keys: Offering an option to watch occasional ads for Crystal Keys in-game could provide a more balanced approach between monetization and player satisfaction. This could help players that lack the ability to drop liquidity into the game a way to progress without solely relying on spending money within the game. 5. 900 vaults is ridiculous for events. Why? You are requiring players to drive at minimum 12 hours to complete events. It’s NOT fun or healthy for that matter. I suggest you go back to the drawing board. No new players are going to do this. Be open to change.
This game could have been fun, like many other games that interact with your real world environment. However it throws you in with no direction, no instructions, no tutorials, absolutely nothing. On top of that when events etc come out they do not communicate in game anything about it. You have to dig through social media to find out about it. It had potential but it’s simply too confusing and not worth the hassle for the little reward of answering trivia questions. Might as well go download a trivia game and save yourself the hassle.
The core gameplay seems good, but I feel like 90% of the game is unexplained and unclear on what to do. Like I get you can walk around and open safes with keys and trivia, but otherwise am pretty lost. I do a safe and get some paint and coins and resin. What do any of those do? No idea. My guy is a Worker with a color and zodiac symbol, what do those mean? No idea. There’s a build menu to unlock, what will I be able to build? No idea. I can unlock it by getting level 5 HQ. I need a green guy to level HQ. How do I get him? No idea. I’ve played for a bit over like two days and already feel completely lost and walled off, and can’t find an explanation for help anywhere in game. I need a green guy to upgrade HQ, I assume it has something to do with green paint and crafting, but what do I do to unlock crafting and get him? No idea. Do I need to find a crafting structure out there already and use it to get the guy? No idea. Is that a structure I can craft with the build menu? No idea. How can people play it if the crafting structure is needed to level your HQ but also requires a leveled HQ to presumably build it? No idea. Is the game just incomplete, is there nothing to do beyond hitting build HQ and getting locked at that step or is there more to it? No idea. Hopefully they add an update with some big help book to explain basically all the aspects of the game, because so far I know basically none of it. Maybe my game bugged and didn’t show a tutorial it should have? Although ideally there should be a menu to review that if so. If everything is explained this could be a 4-5 star game, but I just genuinely don’t know because I have no idea how 90% of the game is supposed to work.
Don’t doubt this game, find others in your area who play it and give it a try. It’s developers truly care!
I live playing games but with this one I had a bad experience their was so much lag and it even kept getting my location wrong and on top of that things wouldn’t load. If you’re looking for a game like this but better I just would recommend playing something like Pokémon go or Pikmin bloom which are way better than this
