I just switched to this app from Breitbart because their latest update doesn’t allow reading in landscape. Hope it lasts!
Can't get it on my desktop
All of a sudden Daily Caller will not open up on my apple desktop running Sequoia
Nope, still closes while scrolling
Had no problems with this app until it was updated 3 days ago and started closing app after scrolling stopped
The Daily Caller. Sept 10, 2024 Review...
UPDATE: Sept 10, 2024 Version 18.8 is now crashing on launch. back to the drawing board... I guess, this is the same behavior that was experienced after updating from V 18.4 to V 18.5... Now V 18.8 is afflicted by a similar symptom... Help Devs... The Daily Caller. Aug 31, 2024 Review... The Daily Caller app was working fine (more or less,) until installation of V 18.5, now it will NOT open, it crashes on launch. I tried the usual method of uninstalling and reinstalling hoping to fix it that way, but it still crashes upon launch. I hope that the developer fixes this ASAP. I should have known better than to install any update on a holiday weekend. An additional note: It would be great if a 'Dark Theme' option were available, not everyone wants to read articles with a blindingly white background. Thanks.
Comment section is gone
They got rid of the comment section after each article which was the best part of the app. Bring it back. I'm not using the app until it's back.
Crash crash crashes
Frustrating can’t even read one article without it closing down if it’s a terrible app
Still crashing after update fix
Date July 24, 2024 I updated with the new update to help fix the crash and it is still crashing. I am highly disappointed because this is one of my favorite apps and I hope you can fix this soon.
Click bait — do not install
This click bait article made me delete the app. An article which implied Eric Clapton had died, but it was some other guitarist. Deleting app forever.
Crashes. ALWAYS!
This app constantly and abruptly closes when either scrolling thru the articles and most definitely when you open an article to read. Can’t the developers fix this?
