The Elder Scrolls: Castles

Game shuts down constantly, played less than 1/2 hour. You’ll have more fun smashing your fingers with a hammer.

Apparently after googling, this is a common enough error. Nothing I tried could fix this and I was eventually robbed of all progress. I spent money on this. Don’t do that.

The game stopped working with Game Center - i uninstalled the app, reinstalled it, and I can no longer log in to my castle and lost the $20 I spent on the annual pass. Game Center is fine, but the app won’t acknowledge my id or account. I was ranked #821 on my castle score. So frustrating!

Unable to launch game, “Game Center login failed” yet same screen shows that I am logged in with my Game Center username. This just started today. I really like this game and even purchased the annual special for extra perks. Waste of money if I cannot even play. (On iPad, app is up-to-date)

I’d say 4.8/5 stars. I absolutely love this game, have been playing it every day since downloading it. The music is so relaxing and I love decorating my castle. I’m looking forward to new decorations and am hoping for new workstation types in the future. I love logging in every day to see if there’s an event, and getting lots of atronite from just doing the events feels very rewarding. My only real problem with the game is how it interacts on mobile. I’m on an iPhone 14 pro and I’m constantly accidentally moving my inhabitants around as I pan around my castle, moving people off of workstations or even swapping them to the wrong ones just from pinching to zoom or panning around. Maybe there could be a lock/unlock button for moving inhabitants around? Would say full 5/5 with some sort of fix for that.

Offline please? Fallout shelter has it, why not castles?

it doesn’t run very well on the phone and has to refresh cause something went wrong every 2 minutes. also can’t play music while playing the game. other than that it’s pretty good too bad these issues are making it pretty unplayable

I do think this game could be fun… If the playability were increased. It crashes and freezes more than anything I have ever tried to play. I would never purchase any of the real money items until this is addressed. Please fix this.
