The Family Core

The Family Core helps parents quickly, easily and securely share information with only those who need it. Manage and organize your family. HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) compliant. Two plans to choose from: FREE and PREMIUM.

Family Core functionality includes:

Secure Document Storage and Sharing:
- Build all your own encrypted files, organize them buy category and sub-category
- Encrypted storage: Ensure that all documents are stored securely using encryption protocols to protect sensitive information.
- User-based access control: Implement access controls so that only authorized family members can view and edit specific documents.

Shared Calendar:
- Color-coded events: Differentiate between family members' events with color-coded entries for easy identification.
- Recurring events: Support recurring events for regular family activities and commitments. Have full editability of recurring events when things change at the last minute.
- Sync with personal calendars: Allow users to sync the family calendar with their personal calendars (Future feature).

Messaging:
- End-to-end encryption: Implement end-to-end encryption for messaging to ensure privacy and security.
- Family-wide and private chats: Enable both group chats for family-wide communication and private chats between individual members.

Geolocation Check-In:
- Opt-in geo-location check in: allow family members to voluntarily share their current location using GPS from any handheld device regardless of operating system
- Check-in notifications: Enable automatic check-in notifications to inform other members of a user’s location.
- Location history: Provide a log of location history to track movements over time.

Emergency Contacts and Information:
- In-app emergency contacts: Allow users to store and access emergency contact information within the app.
- Quick access to medical details: Include a section for storing important medical information for each family member in each person’s About Me section.

Task and Chore Management:
- Assign tasks: Facilitate the assignment of chores or tasks to family members with due dates and priority levels.
- Task completion tracking: Allow members to mark tasks as completed and track overall family progress.

Notification Center:
- Customizable notifications: Permit users to customize notification preferences for various activities, events, and messages.
- Reminders & Alerts: Send reminders or alerts for upcoming events, tasks, check-ins, contacts, documents or other important family-related activities.

Privacy Settings:
- Individual privacy controls: The platform allows the Administrator(s)of the family account to set permissions across all pieces of functionality: documents, chat, geolocation, tasks, contacts and calendar events. In this way, only certain people on your account see information pertaining to them and nothing they don't need access to.
