Surely there is a student on campus who can create at least a semi-useful app for this awesome school! This one is a little bit embarrassing.

Can’t t log in. Constantly has error message.

Disappointed. App does not provide any valuable information. Honestly have no idea why this is created in the first place when the old app was just functioning fine. (Or at least don’t kill the old app?!)

People literally only use this app to see the rosters.... and you guys went ahead and got rid of the only feature that people downloaded the app for...

yea, so i definitely feel like a school that boasts one of the best design programs in the country could bother to design an app with an above average User Interface. im not even a design student, but my limited formal experience in design is nevertheless supported by a body of knowledge abt the arts+human psychology—which has opened my eyes to such things. mind you, this is also the ‘new,’ ‘official’ app; meaning the old one, as someone else said, was worse. im surprised that a school dedicated to progress(-ive ideology, as well) wouldnt already have a decent app catered to the extensive needs of their particular student body—one of which they boast idiosyncrasy. i expected more coming here. that being said, this new app isnt that (as) bad, its definitely quite a bit better. if anything the new school should pay one of the (many, lower- and middle-income, especially) parsons students indebted to them to design an (undoubtedly better) app. pay them a reasonable amount too, dont make it a ‘competition’ where the reward is ‘exposure’ or ‘school pride’—we need the money, for food and shelter, if not those specifically: security. especially given the exorbitant costs of our tuition and housing (the latter of which is not always continually ensured). a new app, student designed, (released in due time, allotting due time for play-testing, etc.) would not only be a meaningful and impressive statement, but would likely far exceed expectations; even catering to an audience/demographic largely composed of artist types, notorious for their criticism/divergence of/from traditional art and its pillars (institutions). not to mention, an app designed BY students FOR students has got ensure the best the best design for OUR demographic.

I appreciate that everything I need to be a student at TNS is accessible in one place. If you don’t want to download canvas, just go to the My New School tab and reach it through there. So easy. I love it.

…comes an app with a design to leave you clueless about the university. Seriously, what is this? A bunch of links, the worst use of a tab bar ever and a weird drawer that takes days to emerge from the bottom only to reveal… what? What is that special piece of UI supposed to do, exactly? This app is not better than the old one, and the old one sucked too.
