The Pub Finder

What a brilliant app. Star rating and location finder are great when out and about

About as much use as a paper hat in the rain. It can’t find half the pubs I know are there and most of them have no reviews anyway. Not everyone lives in and around London. For the West Country it’s very sketchy indeed better off on google very disappointing.

This app is a long way out of date. I opened the app where I live and found 4 pubs still there that have been closed years and 2 with the wrong name. If it’s that wrong in a square mile it must be terrible country wide. Further to my earlier review. I have found a lot more pubs permanently closed and looking around half the pubs I know exist are not in the map. To far out of date to be of any use. Deleted.

This app is crap

In my area there are many pubs shown that have been closed for years and old established pubs that are not shown at all. Easier to use the whatpub website or the Camra app ( subscription required).

No longer a nice pub. Owners can be miserable and not very hospitable

Went here with the family. 4 of ate Fish and chips and all loved it. Beers I had was fosters and Stella which were both nice. San Miguel wasn’t on. My father in law had doom bar which again was a good pint. Good day out by all.

This isn’t too bad really. It’s big downfall for me and it may be for others, is, when you tap on a ‘teardrop’ to I.d. a pub, an option is to find it on google. What would be nice is for the app to find the pub, instead of crashing back to your iPad desktop/homescreen.

Just about every bar or pub I click on in the City of London is either closed or has been renamed some time ago. Very out of date.

I'm sitting in the pub that has won awards as the best pub in the north east, and it isn't listed. Near my home, it provides 'pins' for towns & villages that have several pubs, but the app can't even name them. It's utterly useless. Until the authors populate the app with pubs - not hard, as 80% of British pubs are owned by 7 companies, so just ask each of them for a list! - this app will remain total crap, even if they get one of their own to write the first review!
