Real News
Always on time with real current affairs
Don’t want notifications!
Almost the end of December and nothing has been fixed on the app. I will most definitely not be renewing my paid subscription goi g forward. All of a sudden the app is asking me to go to settings and allow notifications. No! Do not want them. Fix it please !
App is only interested in spamming you.
If I wanted notifications on, I would turn them on. For crying out loud! Stop asking me to do so every day. Now I remember why I unsubscribed last time.
Poorly functional!
I just deleted this app due to obnoxious, impossible to hide, impossible to close video ads which obscure the news articles. Developers, take this as a clue about why you’re losing customers.
Buggy
It worked great but over the past 2 weeks the screen turns red, causing a restart of the app. The cycle continues until I give up. Content wise, it’s great.
Red screen of death!
20 seconds into reading an article and the red screen of death pops up. Waste of money!
Very annoying glitches
The app looks okay, but it has annoying glitches. It hits you with the same popup every time you change pages, and then it just suddenly crashes and goes blank. It’s unpredictable and a pain in the wazoo.
Frustrating Constant Crashes!!
I have a PAID subscription with The Washington Times and yet I can’t get through two articles before the app crashes! Yes, I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app, but the crashes continue. DEVELOPER: I am using an UTD Apple iPhone 13. The crashes happen randomly but always while I’m in the middle of reading an article. Whatever page I’m on just suddenly turns all red and stays that way. There is nothing to click on and swiping right on the screen does nothing; I have to close out the app, reopen and then search for the article in order to finish reading it. Would you please fix this problem? It’s been going on ever since I first downloaded the app, well over a year ago; maybe two years ago by now.
Doesn’t work
Used to work, but doesn’t any more. Is anyone at Wash Times working on the app at all? Doesn’t look like it. I just get a huge red screen.
