The Way Home: Pixel Roguelike

I really love this game, it’s fun. Although I cannot watch the videos to build the deck. Whenever I click on the ad button it says that the Ad could not be loaded, therefore I cannot progress in the game. If this would get fixed, I would easily give this game 5 stars

Started of really great but forces you to watch 10 ads just to get to chapter 2 or pay £4.99 which also removes all ads

You know this is the first review of a mobile app I’ve ever written and that’s for good reason The ending was absolutely brilliant while I don’t exactly enjoy the whole dream trope my heart strings were still pulled during the ending Game was well made the ads could get a little tedious but if you spread them out and do other things while they play you’ll do fine But I do have a question for the devs Is cheese based on a cat from real life or is he strictly from the game

Now this game is a masterpiece, I thought it should cost money as it’s so good, the rogue like aspects made it so fun, I love the challenge making it so you can choose to keep on going or not (I know that’s what a roguelike kinda is) but I think it’s good how they made it so you loose items when you die but not all of them and the upgrades, I haven’t played this game much but the boss was quite hard but I have beaten it - and because I haven’t played the game much I haven’t unlocked all the skills so I don’t know if this is a thing already, but please add a way to heal! Like an skill that lets you heal 10% health every floor you go on. And for part that takes away the star, is the fact that we have to pay (yes I know I can watch ads but I just don’t feel like doing that every floor or whatever it said because normally I play this as an online game, so I can’t really play the games story, but the expeditions are still really fun! So overall this game should be a 5 Star but it’s just the ads/paywall that is annoying..

Definitely fun and gives me that nostalgia feeling from the old school Arpg’s like Zelda and similar Just played through the first island and although I’m not a fan of ads, it’s understandable if wishing to stay F2P but good there is an option to pay to remove ads for those who want to Looking forward to the rest of the game as I play and hope the developers continue with similar projects in the future

Easy to learn, gradual difficulty curve, lots of additional bonus items to find and craft. Gameplay is simplistic, but you still get some challenge from the bosses. I liked how you get a full game for free and then can choose whether to buy the expansion packs. I didn’t mind paying as I’d like to see that model for other games too.

This rogue like was made with love and it shows. I love it.

I have played 100’s of IOS games and never feel compelled to review. But THIS game is exactly what I was looking for, I’m just sad it’s over :(

Hella addicting, I found myself playing it all day on and off once I picked it up. Enjoyable gameplay loop, difficult until you learn the enemies attack patterns and get some lucky upgrades! Just completed it. Great ending. Thanks for the game.
