Theatr - Buy/Sell Last-Min Tix

I click on things the instant I’m notified and it still says “sold.” Don’t try getting anything remotely desirable because you won’t.

I’ve been here since the @stooping_theater days and I recommend this app to everyone who asks about cheap tickets! It’s much better than every other 3rd party sellers because no one is on here to make a profit, only to sell tickets. I’ve also had times when I couldn’t go to shows and the tickets sold so quickly… it’s also nice to know that the tickets are going to someone who will enjoy the show because if they know about this app, odds are they’re in the theater community

The idea of this app is amazing! I’ve recommended it to a ton of friends. However, lately when I receive notifications, tickets are almost always sold even if I tap on them right away. I just received a notification at 2:04am EST, tapped it immediately, and it’s been sold. Maybe someone actually snagged the ticket, but something tells me there is a delay in pushing notifications to all users. Would be happy to be proved wrong but right now it’s been pretty frustrating.

I’ve been following this group since it was an IG page and could not be happier with the app. They are constantly making improvements are communicating with customers which makes it feel so personal. I have personally bought tickets to multiple high selling shows exclusively using this app. They allow for price point notifications whenever someone posts for a show you are interested in allowing for a quick and easy purchase. I love that this is an app for people who love theater who are just trying to buy/sell at the prices they got them at (or less!) and share extra tickets. It feels like a real community and I love love love buying from Theatr.

I sold some tickets for physical hand off and the buyer canceled 55 minutes before the show started. They couldn’t leave their house on time... No other selling platform lets a buyer cancel an order, especially less than an hour before the show. DO NOT SELL ON THIS APP

Great app and service! I’ve used the theatr app multiple times since discovering it to get amazing deals on last minute shows. I’ve also had luck selling a ticket I no longer needed. It’s a good network of people that get it, and the site feels quite secure. If you lose a lottery, there’s a great chance theatr will have a deal for you!
