Nice. Good app.

In the interests of fairness, I have revisited this app following information that it had been improved. The issues facing the UK are too huge to document here, but the need to have complete information on your own health away from the doctor’s surgery system cannot be understated. Hospitals and Primary care are not always linked and this is the focus of apps like this. Your health history is your property, and you need to be able to access things quickly and accurately. In this respect, this app has had improvements made. Putting documents into the system is easier than before and finding them again is better. Copying between iPhone and iPad is OK, but it is not seamless and you do have to remember which device had the last backup to the cloud if you are not to risk losing the latest update. There is a subscription available for this although at this time, I refuse to pay for subscriptions unless there is a clear and justifiable benefit. The developer does respond to feedback so there is more hope that this will get better and this review will be updated. In summary: this is now worthy of trying out for UK and some EU patients. You cannot download directly from primary care or secondary care systems in the UK, but you can import emailed data. This app is based on a US-centric model, but it has so many limitations and bugs that it hardly qualifies as a “release” product. Everything uses lower case entries making it look cheap. The currency is hard wired to dollars. Entries get screwed up so you end up with no date or missing vital information. The colour of the backgrounds alone makes it hard to work with. No sync. No companion app for your PC. The iPad version just makes the inadequacies bigger. Sorry to say, but this simply isn’t worth the bother. Between this and nothing, I would advise you to go with nothing.

This is an improvement on apps I’ve used before, and I find it very useful especially for that awkward time when your doctor/dentist/osteopath asks you for details of past treatment or surgery. Pop it all in here and have the correct description and dates to hand. Very good app, and I’m planning to explore more of what it offers!

I was using My Medical and because they stop updating it they suggest this one but it is well inferior in options, eg. lack Past Medications, Episodes & Injuries, Hospitalizations, etc …

As with many apps this one has gone to the subscription model. Not worth a monthly or annual fee. Update This app WAS free when it started out. Now you have to pay if you want to enter more than one persons records. So to say it’s FREE is misleading. The free part is basically a “trial” version for one person. Also it is cluttered with way to many categories that are so similar it’s hard to decide which one to use. “My Medical” was organized, simple, clean, and easy to use. And yes, we all know you are not associated with that app, but you could have and should have taken a good look at what they were doing and followed a winning model.

This app comes in handy because you usually have your phone with you when an emergency happens. However, you have to be sure to enter your info in it for yourself and your loved ones. When you arrive at the ER and they ask — a million questions — you will have already taken a photo of health documents / and surgical history. Of all the apps on my phone— this app is a must have!

I like the program but it took me a little bit to get to like it. My previous app was My Medical and I couldn’t transfer my data. I figured out an alternative solution. Now that I have my information in the app, it’s growing on me
