Surprisingly Good
You’d think a good Timer app would be easy to make since there’s only so much a timer app can do but for some reason so many people get it wrong. In a world where the new norm is overpriced subscription-based apps, this free, easy-to-use app is getting 5 stars from me. It probably should get a 4 but it’s free so I’m grading it on a curve. The issues I have with this app are that there’s no Shortcut support, and there’s no option to pause or save a timer to run later instead of immediately. Fix those things and it’s literally the perfect timer app. Many don’t even have Live Activity or Dynamic Island support and this one does. If you could steal the ability to have 2 timers showing in the Dynamic Island and Live Activites from the Sticky Timers app that would be great too. I was using them before but they had too many glitches that mad the app unusable so I had to look for an alternative. Based on price and features this app takes the cake. *Just discovered you can pause the timer by swiping right. Literally discovered that by accident though it’d probably be better if you could tap the timer icon to pause but at least the functionality is available. I still want to be able to either create timers from shortcuts, or create timers in the app and then access them from Shortcuts so that I can just say a phrase to Siri and activate 1 or multiple shortcuts at once though.
