Timex Pay™

The app asks to “allow location in settings,” however, there is no setting in this app for location services to be accessed. So I can not add a card to my new watch band. Rendering it useless.

I’m excited to pay with my watch band but the app can’t complete the process. The app asks me to accept the terms and conditions repeatedly. It never proceeds to the next step. It’s a Chase card if that makes any difference. Any chance of a fix?

With the 1.18 version, the app wouldn’t load: Rebooted phone, reinstalled app, nothing fixed it. Is the service down? As of 6/8/22 the app was updated to version 1.19 and it loads and I can set up the device. I was about to give 5 stars after this correction, by my concern is whether this will occur in the future. I need to be able to disable the chip if the watch or band is lost or stolen, and having no access to do so is concerning. Hopefully this is mitigated for the future. I love this technology and I believe this kind of tech is the future for wristwatches.

Click on the app icon and it does not initialize on IOS 15.5 with iPhone 11. Just sits on a black screen. :(

Can’t add card via app. I am trying to add a Chase card and it keeps erroring out.

It is so convenient and easy to use! I love that I can use it to shop practically anywhere, since most places offer tap to pay now. The setup was very easy and paying with it is seamless! Highly recommend.

This watch is awesome and so handy. Love how quick it is to check out of a store without having to dig out any cards! It worked great from day one and I now never leave home without it!

The app makes it easy and straightforward to set up the watch. The payment confirmations that are pushed by the app after using the watch are also very much appreciated.

I love the Timex Pay watches contactless paying option. I can quickly make a purchase at self checkout and be on my way. It eliminates the need to dig out my Chase credit card from my wallet. It was very easy to setup and use.

Love having a traditional timepiece with the capabilities of a smart watch. Payment is super easy and the contactless element makes me love this even more.
