I tried half a dozen apps. And this app was the only one that stood to its promises. No ads, all the techniques in one place, the app itself is nicely done. The only thing it’s lacking is the use media controls like music apps do. We all are used to manage the sound via buttons on locked screen, using gadget or by interacting with AirPods. Pause by button, resume after received phone call and do on. If Notched audio could use feed from my Spotify it would be sound. But probably it’s just impossible. Thank you, folks, for your superb work, keep it up!

Nice free app that doesn’t bug you with premium stuff. Tinnitus is annoying enough so something free for the people is a great service. It has a simple but effective design and offers enough options to tailor your needs. I like the sound mixer the most, the stored sounds are good fine to work with.

Fantastic app. Best tinnitus app I’ve found, no longer need anything else. Does everything you want and more — has all the most common masking sounds, neuromodulation, T pitch test etc. I love that it runs in the background so that the sounds keep playing when multitasking or when you lock your phone. Simple design, easy to use. Very grateful to everyone who worked on it (and thanks for making it free!!)

This works well but every time you turn your phone off and back on you have to re-do the frequency match to re-set the frequency you need. And the slide bar to set the frequency is small and too close to the numbers so it is difficult to see the frequency as you slide the bar. Good app but could use tweaking to make it easier to use.

I don’t understand how anyone says this app is intuitive. I don’t understand what it’s for. I don’t understand how to use it and there are no directions anywhere absolutely worthless.

I can’t believe that they do not charge for this app, it is hands down the best free tinnitus therapy app out there. No adds no time limits just a great well though out app that actually works. Although there is no cure for tinnitus you can retrain your brain to ignore it and I know it’s sounds like some sort of magic, it really does work! Be patient and try to follow the instructions and match your tinnitus sound then give your brain time to adjust while you listen to the sounds I like to do it when I read. I also use the timer function and listen to some sound when I go to bed I set the timer for 1 hour and like magic I fall asleep. I’m not a doctor just a tinnitus sufferer like you reading reviews and ran across this app. Think of this retraining like living in a house with a wind up clock or near train tracks, at some point you no longer notice the clock or the trains going by. I think this works the same way. Remember don’t mask out your tinnitus keep the volume a little lower than your tinnitus sound and give the therapy time. For me one day it was magic and my tinnitus was not ruining my life and my brain just started to ignore it, tinnitus is still there but I don’t notice it nearly as much and using the app at bedtime is a game changer. Great app for tinnitus (unlike most others which are just sound makers). You can tailor everything to your liking, unless you’re me of course lol. I have a pulsating tinnitus and can’t quite get things right, but I still find a lot of benefit from this app. Five stars for sure!

I have severe tinnitus and this app helped me match the multi-layered tones and find the perfect background noise to help calm my nervous and limbic systems so I can navigate the intensity more gracefully. TinnitusPlay App has a simple user-friendly interface on the surface but supports a depth of settings and options tailored to and by the user. Only thing would recommend is easier to access pause or off setting from any point while in use

Not only was I able to actually match my tinnitus for free and do a hearing test, but it uses the clinical research that showed great effectiveness in diminishing tinnitus. I am only on day one but I love it already. My favorite part is being able to actually replicate my exact tinnitus and allowing my spouse hear exactly what i deal with 24/7!!!! Now they completely understand how torturous it it. They lasted less than 5 minutes with my exact tinnitus sound before having to remove the earphones! It is great to finally be able to have a way to have something tangible that they can experience instead of trying to explain!!! Great app!!! FREE! Highly recommended!
