Nothing annoys me more than going to an online newspaper and finding a mishmash of words and titles that one is expected to go to and then find their way back around! The Toronto Star E edition goes from front to back exactly like reading the paper. If you want to convert people to reading the paper electronically, then this is precisely the way to go. Bravo!
Kindly cancel my online subscription which was done inadvertently Thank you Sankararaman Swaminathan
It’s not easy to find a real, general coverage news publication. “News” is the word we, in the states, now use to mean partisan-political-opinion-publications. The Toronto Star is a general coverage news publication. The Star carries real news, much like our local newspaper, PBS, BBC, Voice of America, and very few others. Read the Star and you will see how Canada sees us as only a sibling can see another.
I hate this version. It's slow to load& has very limited content. I hate the page it returns to when you close a story.
In the updated version, the drop down section selection menu in page view only stays visible for 1 second , then disappears, making it useless.
It’s great.
I currently get the e editions of 4 newspapers. I have always disliked the Stars epaper and found it clumsy and difficult. The new app moves the Star to the front of the line in ease of use, page readability, and general appearance.
Thanks for letting me know to remind me about my bill to pay
Why, you ask? Simple. I am 79 years old and during my run, I met thousands of people. One of my chosen characteristics, for anyone who is a joy to listen to or chat with , they have a way of looking at many things in a positive way. I watched P.P. during his hatchet days for Mr. Harper, he would easily qualify for Rowan and Martin’s comedy hour. Never smile and never say a good thing about a person or issue. I suspect this a trait he acquired in his early years. We all know that cliche, do you look at the glass half full or empty? Unfortunately, for P.P. , his glass is empty! If he wanted to make a change in his appearance, he should watch Eric Idle( you tube) closing song at the 2012 London Olympics, “ Always Look on the Bright Side of Life”. He might learn something?
