Loved total war games in pc. However the movement of troops Is horrible . All Troops default to walking > hard to manoeuvre. Also selecting troops on world map does not work most of the times. I try clicking on them but I can only select the city
Really great mobile port. Would be great if it had mod support as well. But I feel like it needs a update to fix some bugs and optimise some stuff. Otherwise nice

It runs a bit choppy on my iPad 7 but it’s definitely enjoyable. The slightly new controls need some getting used to but are fine. I can’t wait for the Kingdom expansion (hopefully this still this year) Also in case someone is interested: it’s possible to play ALL factions. To do so you need to open medieval shell (press and hold top left and top right corners at the same time). Then you can type in „control [faction name]“ to take over that nation. If you type in „control papal_states“ you can play as the papacy or „control slave“ to play as rebels. This work with the Aztecs and even the Mongols and Timurids once they appear.
This is my favorite PC game and it definitely caught my eye when I saw it was on mobile so I had to get it. I understand it’s hard turning a PC game to mobile but it’s pretty difficult to use the game. The graphics are very smooth but still it’s hard for me to even operate the game.
I’m very happy to see one of the most beloved total war games ported to mobile for more people to enjoy with some better graphics and on the go fun. A must have for strategy game enjoyers and total war fans. 9/10
Playing in battle mode is a very frustrating experience. Single taps are registered as full orders, which means I’m repeatedly giving out bad orders simply by scrolling around the battlefield trying to find the very well camouflaged enemies. I think the devs did perhaps the best job possible translating this very old, PC oriented video game onto iOS. But there is still a lot of room for polish. Other than that, this feels very much like playing the original game on PC. And this game is incredible to this day. It’s simple, challenging, and yet surprisingly deep. It is not for everyone. It took me at least three hours to get through 20 turns. So instant gratification this game is not. But that is part of the joy of this game. Instead of flashy modern graphics, you get to watch your carefully well laid plans spring to life.
The game is good, but there is no Chinese.
