The game is constructed well and the concept works but u less you want to join a. Alliance forget it. The developers clearly believe (and might be partially right) that grouping players will incentivize purchasing so therefore if you play solo you will always be at a disadvantage and you can see that happen once you a) hit certain level and b) track troop movement. If you want the same old alliance/clan experience you will enjoy this but otherwise skip it as it offers nothing new.

The game developers support unethical play that 100% goes against their “community” guidelines which is really all they are. Their only concern is money. If you like to spend a lot of money. This is your game. You will thrive l, rise to the top, and be able to do anything you want to do. No skill will be needed. Make a name for yourself. If you have skill and not that much money this game is not for you. You will only get frustrated and quit. The game recently during a week long event had some players do some unethical play. It was blatant to all. They used a loophole which in the “community guidelines” says that type of play will get you banned and it’s against the “community guidelines. But since these players spend enough well you guessed it. They are sweeping it under the rug. They have a discord to promote the “community” however they wouldn’t know community if it was staring them in the face. Spend your valuable time elsewhere. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else as well. If zero stars was possible they’d get that.

Are garbage. Game changes too much. Leave it alone. Also rematches should be best 2/ out of 3 to determine a winner. Bring more places to extract from for the idle.

RECOMMEND NOT DOWNLOADING, YOU WILL BE FRUSTRATED AND WILL DELETE. YOU HAVE TO SPEND ALOT OF MONEY TO EVEN HAVE A CHANCE OF FAIR GAMES OR SUCCESS. The game concept is fun but unless you spend money, you will not find much success as you move up levels. The customer service is horrible and not helpful. It is the kind of service that if you engaged in person you would walk away confused and angry. The programmers/ game owners don’t understand how to keep customers playing. I first played this game years ago and have recently tried again, little has changed to make it funner and more fair. Their usual last response is a recommendation to join the discord to learn strategy. More often than not the failure of an algorithm they set up pairs me with players (which I doubt are people, likely just bots) that I simply cannot beat. My main characters are level 10, 9 and 9. I am constantly paired against opponents that have level 13, 12 and 12. They attack immediately before i can upgrade anything and cannot survive the attack. Last night I think I played 20-ish rounds, and lost 15, that were not close, total obliterations. Maybe someday if the company is bought out and all the game play staff is replaced, it will be worth anyones time.

I fudging love this game i play it all the time but the inquisitors are OP and SO STUPID they ruin all strategy and theres literially no way to defend against them because they can WALK THROUGH WALLS

I am well over a thousand battles in and now you are kind of stuck with no advancement in site unless you pay. It would be way more logical to make it to where you could slowly level up bit by bit, but now you wait and wait until you can leap. At level 12 you have to gather 1600 cards to level up. That’s insane and takes an eternity unless you want to pay in which case you didn’t actually earn it. Anyways, I’m done.

I’ve play this game for years and I could never reach more than 6000 trophies. I’ve been stuck on the same place for more than 1 year even if I played daily getting every possible reward. I went from loving the gate to absolutely despise it to the point of sickness. Please don’t waste your time, disappointing and frustration is what you’re going to get.

If you don’t want to spend a bunch of money or wait for years to be able to get over a level then don’t get this game. The only way to be good is to pay for stuff. It is really frustrating to get beat by people who have lower experience but paid for their wins.

My fav part of art of war was the mini game and now it has its very own game app,,,, love it!

Hackers/cheaters all the same. They have failed this. The playback video doesn’t show what really happens. The developers don’t even know how to check their own game too see the hacks. When video playback doesn’t match what really happened, it’s a hack/cheat. Dev are putting limits on legit play, but not stopping the hacking cheating losers. Join the discord? For what? Listen to excuses and no fix? Waste! Nobody cares that money is wasted on this game because the same players cheat, are reported over n over, and nothing happens
