Great app! Wish there also was an Apple Watch app with guided runs.
I’ve always struggled to truly get into running and never enjoyed the standard plans where it feels as though one missed session is a catastrophe. With this, the plan tailors to your previous activity and feels spot on. My only suggestion would be to have a text explanation of the week ahead, changes and a weekly summary of your activity
This app is fantastic for structuring training in an intelligent way taking into consideration past activities and future plans to create a training plan that evolves with your fitness
The app often fails to open so I have to delete then re-download which isn’t ideal. But the programmes and running AI is good, wish there was a bit more flexibility and that it was easier to set days to do specific workouts.
I’ve used this app for a number of years whilst I had a farm in and the fact you could sync your training schedule to a farming was amazing. However, recently I switched to an iwatch and I assumed TrainAsONE would have an iwatch app, but unfortunately that’s not the case. I’m trying to figure a way of getting my training schedule in another way but ideally there would be an iwatch version which would make it easier. Please could you do this then it would be perfect!
The plan but if the app is great but despite updating & reinstalling several times the voice direction just doesn’t work. I can start a workout fine and get the voice for the first section then nothing. An error message comes up although app continues to record the run so on simple runs of a specific pace for x minutes I can complete using my watch but for runs with distance challenges or several pace changes that’s harder to do.
Simple to use, intelligent planning ensuring progress without risk of overtraining. Flexible & adaptable for those with busy and changeable lives. Really top app! I’m on my second year using TAO and couldn’t be happier. On a geeky note, if you love analytics you’ll also love the graphs 📈🤓🏃🏻♀️
Having ran for a number of years and ran with Daniels, Pfitz, Tinman and Hanson plans the TAO plan(s) is far superior. Firstly, it listens to my body more than I would. Secondly, it gives recovery a chance, rather than the usual building a typical runner undertakes. The workouts are straightforward and uploaded straight to my watch. I’m feeling fit, fast and confident in my current ability and I’m running less than I would normally. As a runner that has been injured on 4 from 5 marathon cycles I am excited for my build-up to London and could not recommend the AI approach enough. Also, it’s exciting contributing to something that will evolve and improve over time. 👍
Amazing app/service - you won’t miss the old standardised training plans one bit. Genuinely customised to you. Every workout feels just right - not too easy and not too hard.
