Traveline Scotland

Sometimes works. Sometimes doesn’t work. The travel updates section is next to useless. Time for the developers to do a rewrite.

The traveline Scotland app has so much potential however with its outdated design and poor user interface it is almost impossible to use, some of the travel data is wrong and I think they need to focus on fixing it. I know it is trying to do transport info for the entire of Scotland but it could do so much more to help it be up to date and help simplify travel in Scotland but it need a some big improvements before we reach that stage

This app has wrong routes for service 52 & wrong times for service 14 so both routes out of Ayr from Barassie to Ayr hospital were wrong cost me £12 in taxis & an hour in travel time Absolute garbage esp as Ayr station is out of service

The app doesn’t load bus stops so unable to check next departure very disappointing

This used to be a really reliable app for live bus times but recently it doesn’t seem to work or only occasionally. Shame because I used to find it really useful

The app works okay but now and again the bus stops disappear and I can’t get the information on bus times please get it sorted

This app is useless. It shows the same bus times that are on the time tables at the bus stops. And regardless they’re always wrong. Ever since they x27 was cut, no bus has ever showed up on time. A LIVE bus time would be nice. But not this crap

I only ever use the traffic Scotland map feature on this app. 1. Map doesn’t display properly on IOS. Looks like a ‘zoomed-in’ version of the website as everything is dis-proportionate. Menu at top and bottom takes up 1/5 of screen. 2. Enable multiple selections for map. I.e Cameras, roadworks and incidents etc. to save navigating back and forth. The info is all there so please make it more user-friendly.

This app is terrible on a small screen phone also it will tell you that 2 lanes are restricted but not what’s causing the problem

Have waited repeatedly for buses given by this app that don’t show up. What’s the point in it? Ok for longer routes but useless for local buses.
