I have used this app for two years now, and I have not turned my back on it because it is super good.

You provide great information in an easy format to understand

This app is great. As someone who lives in an active hurricane area, but doesn't know much about weather, this app shows me what I need to know. It has other more detailed screens too but the things that interest me most like what tropical storms and hurricanes are forming, where they are, their intensity, and where they're headed is easy to locate quickly. AND this app is affordable without a subscription! Thank you!

I got this app not too long ago and love it. This app send notifications whenever new information pops up. I have another app and it only notifies new hurricanes. No notifications on new updates. This app is the best.

To the points you made in return to mine: *️⃣ The expanded info that displays when long pressing a notification unexpectedly stopped working for about 3 days. Then, a few hours after the review I submitted it mysteriously suddenly started working again (and the thumbnail graphic that displays on the right side of the notification, which had also disappeared, returned as well). ✳️ Your suggestion about providing an option in the settings to retain notifications after the app is launched is one that I was actually going to make myself…until it slipped my mind. Perfect! 😊 Thanks again (and I hope this is not too messy to read). ______________________________________ I wish I had found this app a long time ago because it really gets it right; spotlighting and keeping on top of every investigation, tropical depression, tropical storm and hurricane, with useful details, regular notifications and of course, forecasts. Moreover, it follows each storm’s progression from beginning to end. I should also add that including all the potential (and used) names for storms for the current (and past) season is a brilliant touch that only makes this app even better. Very, very nice! Having said all this ↑ (albeit a year ago), I do have a bug to report (grey asterisk) plus the same request as last year (green asterisk) which has not been addressed. Both concern the app notifications. *️⃣ Something seems to have glitched in the past few days, because now, when you long-press a notification, it does not expand to display additional information, or the map of the storm in question (without having to actually launch the app). This is a really great feature that I truly appreciate, but only when it works. 😏 ✳️ A Year Later, I Still Have The Same Request: It would be great if you could finally fix the notifications so that they don’t get erased once the app is launched. I find scrolling through them and comparing the earlier reports of what was going on previously to be very useful! Once again, thanks. 🙏
