Truist Authenticator

I had to get this app, it was required. It’s very bad though. Does not work at all for Android phones, only Apple devices, had to use an IPad. When you finally get it to work, it’s still garbage.

I hate truist and will do anything to bring them down

I needed this app so gave it a try in spite of all the most recent reviews saying it is totally broken on iOS 16. Version 1.7.0 works for me on an iPhone 12 mini. Evidently it has been fixed for 3 months.

I can’t believe that Sun Trust now Truist can’t get an effective functioning wire transfer system in place. I have so many hoops to jump through because of their tech problems it’s ridiculous and this has been going on for years. I thought once they got rid of IBM trusteer we might see some improvement or a lot of improvement. Nope, same old problems I have to hunt for which browser will actually let me log into the treasury management website today it happens to be fire fox. I made the mistake of updating this app a couple days ago and apparently now this app doesn’t work so I can’t send my wire today so what should’ve taken one minute will again take hours to resolve because of the problems that are created from this. WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your rating is below two stars do you think you guys have a problem????????????????????????????????????????????????

Whatever “bug fixes” you guys tried, actually made it worse. It opens and constantly keeps checking Face ID. I have to go into my App Store and open it from there. Give it a new update and fix this problem ASAP.

The app stopped functioning after they upgraded it to support iOS16

This still does not work with Face ID. It just keeps looping. Please fix!

So, while it’s still on the fritz and won’t open up for me, I’ve found that if I mess around in the app store (clicking on the Truist Aunthenticator “version history” hyperlink, and then open it from the app store, it will give me a code that works. Sometimes you have to do it a couple of times, but at least it’s something until they can fix this mess.

First it crashed immediately on launch after upgrading phone to iOS 16. After updating, now it constantly tries FaceID over and over in an endless loop and still can’t use it. The workaround is to turn off permissions for app to use FaceID in the system settings

Updated the app first, then upgraded to iOS 16. Now I am in an endless Face ID loop and no tokens to use.
