TT Router

The 3 routers have worked great but the app forgot the username and I have been able to log in for years. Foolishly I bought 3 more Taotronics routers to expand coverage in my backyard but the app won’t let me log in. I keep getting a network error when I request the code. I redownloaded the app - same error.

Aug 2024 update… the routers are still functioning but I just checked and I still cannot use the app or adjust settings…and need to add the spare I had put up- but without app access I cannot expand my network or make any changes to it. So, I’m stuck. I guess I need to bite the bullet and buy some other brand even though these seem like great quality since the company has had about a year or so to fix the app and has not done so. —- I recently changed and upgraded my internet provider and can finally take advantage of some of the advertised speeds these routers should support… even in 2024, they’d be ok after I spent hundreds on them back in 20, but unfortunately the new internet provider took longer to get to my area than anticipated…but now the app is apparently dead, locking us out of the settings. I recall when I first used it a code was not required and somewhere along the way they made it more secure by having it email you a code- now it doesn’t email you the code, and you are locked out. If they fix the issue and I can adjust settings- seriously, I can’t even turn the router lights on/off anymore without access- I would up the rating…

The app does not work. Why does it not work. Is there an alternative app. I have wasted money if the app does not work. Big disappointment. Give me some direction!

App doesn’t even work anymore hence can use the router. Customer support zero feedback. AVOID this company at all costs

Tried emailing support for help and nothing Perhaps time to toss this router and replace in 2024

Just like many others reported the app is currently not accessible due to server issues. Therefore the routers cannot be accessed for maintenance or settings. Currently they are still working however with no access basically. Time to shop for a new system.

App doesn’t work anymore, type in my email, but code is not sent, can’t get in to use it. I’ve read of others having same issue.

The app stopped working. Got another mesh system. I believe I can use the power bricks elsewhere. The rest goes into garbage.

customer support responded with something about irreparable server issue and they can offer a partial refund. i’m sure it’ll be through TT only, prompting you to buy another chinese piece of junk that’ll be in a landfill within 2 years. the routers are more than capable, but now completely unusable unless they remove login credentials from the app or someone ports some other firmware to these.

Can’t sign in to the app. Contacted customer care. Waiting to hear back.
