Twixt Time

Unfortunately this piece of software, apart from being complex in using, just doesn't work - time accuracy jumps from -12h to 10mins to +12h on a proper working watches.

This is the first time ever for me to write an App Store review, but this app is worth it! It really checks how well your timepiece is keeping time, and I just checked with a €2000 costing timegrapher, and it tells exactly the same! Thank you for making this app!

After the update doesn't work

Crashes on iPhone 6. Can't measure making it worthless.

This app get's its wrong structurally, which is not convenient when it is a timing app.. measured two different watches vs. an atomic clock and this app in the same 24hr timeframe and differences were : watch 1 400% off (not the watch but the timings from this app (minus 1.3 minute/day) vs the atomic clock (minus 21 sec/day)), watch 2 150% off…I did everything according to the instructions, with different pictures etc. Measurements are structurally off...DO NOT BUY.

I have been using Twixt for nearly a decade and recently took my watch in for a service (which thanks to Twixt was showing a slow degradation in performance over a couple of years). When I got the repaired watch back from the watchmaker something looked amiss but I couldn't tell what it was. Thanks to Twixt I was able to see photos of the watch before the service and immediately it was clear that the watchmaker had replaced the hands with slightly different ones. I never would have been able to know this without a long history of photos of the watch. It was also very easy to show the watchmaker the error since there wasn't much to argue with about the clear evidence of the incorrect hands. I was able to share screen shots with the watchmaker to show the change - an idea to improve the app would be an ability to export/import timelines. Otherwise the app has been matured to perfection as the developer has made continuous improvements to it over the years. Thanks!

I didn't think it was possible for them to make an app worse than Kello, but they did. This is very tedious to use and very inccurate. You have to take a photo of your watch and manually locate the cetner, 12 o'clock, hour, minute and second hands on the screen...repeat to get a reading. After all that, it said a mechanical watch of mine was runnning at +12 minutes per day---which is not even in the ballpark. A real timegrapher shows it is running ~+4 seconds. Don't bother with this one.

I’ve been using this app for several years, and it just works. Allows me to keep track of the timekeeping for my watches in a simple yet effective way. Thank you!

Too expensive for not getting these basic features!

I like to keep track of my watch accuracy. I thought the idea of using a photo would prove to be easy and very accurate. It turns out you have to manually set the positions of the hands each time. What’s more if it’s in a mid way point it struggles to discern which minute you mean. I also had hoped that it would be automatic and recognise each hand. It doesn’t. There’s nothing automatic about it. Basically there’s far better apps out there like WatchTracker that do it for less.
