Typhur

The app works well enough as far as controlling the cooking process but with one MAJOR annoyance! About every fourth or fifth time I go to use the app it declares “no equipment found” and I have to login to the Typhur website and reconnect the app to the base unit before I can setup the cooking parameters. The Typhur products are priced at the top level for this kind of product and work well but I feel that the app used to control them is not a top tier effort.

Good app but needs the Apple Watch version like MEATER has. With the MEATER it was nice to be able to control and look from my watch when I was in the pool.

I’m in the middle of a smoke and need access to my thermometer. But I forgot my password and the reset link isn’t working. Now I have to create a new account and set up the thermometer again to regain access. Jerks. I’m sick to death of companies requiring an account for what should be simple local connectivity.

I have tried using both my iphone and ipad and have good wifi and am unable to sync with my devices, which makes the app unusable.

Please release an iPad version of the app like Meater to be able to use in landscape mode.

The app works fine on MacOS and can pair to Typhur Sync via Bluetooth, but doesn't show the paired probes on the device page. Would love to be able to track my cooks on my computer. Also needs live activity and dynamic island support on the phone.

The app is very user friendly, easy to figure out and its simplicity is awesome. It would be nice though if there was a way to add notes to an entry under the Custom tab. Also, being able to add an entry to the custom tab directly from the history tab would be useful.

This app is really easy to use and I can easily forward my concerns on the app.

It would be great to have custom presets for your favorite foods. They have presets for other foods but you cannot make your own!
