Customer service lacks comprehension skills when reading client messages. As a new UFB customer you have to wait 30 days before you can update your profile I.e., contact information. Yet, every answer I get from UFB customer service tells me to go online to update my profile and contact him information! App is buggy. My UFB dashboard account balance often showed $0 until you clicked on the account and drilled down into the app screens. Long lag time for electronic transactions to post to your account less than ideal. I have another “online only” bank account and my transfers are posted within 3 days. With UFB it’s 5+ days before the transfer is reflected in your “available” balance. Seems excessive given today’s banking checks and balances and electronic technology. UFB servers tend to go a little nutty at times. Last night the app’s biometrics (Face ID) was not working, so the app would not allow me to access my account. Fortunately, I was able to use their website to access my account. However, I had to delete the app from my phone and reinstall it without using biometrics to login in order to get into my account using the app. Less serious issues: 1. App won’t let you update individual security phrase responses - you are forced to redo all of them. Why not allow the user access to their answers and change just the one(s) they want to change? 2. Statements - huge graphic/picture of a happy guy on first page will empty your black ink cartridge after a couple printings! PLEASE remove this unnecessary graphic. All we need is UFB Direct and affiliation info. (Some of us print our bank statements for reconciliation and tax purposes and don’t need an irreverent, non-UFB Direct picture of a guy gracing 1/3 of the first page of our statements.) Thanks
I really enjoy this platform. My money is secure and the growth is easy to look at. The platform is also simple and great interest rate. I would and have recommend this savings account to friends and family. Sometimes it has some delays with connecting to my bank but this occurs here and there.
I like it. However, the transaction processes are very slow, Like takes about 2-3 weeks at least to show up in the account. Also, difficult to track interest percentage amounts. In addition to that, do not like the online chat AI here when compared to other online banking systems. Never got assistance from humans other than robo…🤖 Robo says they will transfer for more assistance to help me, but never got it.
Adding Zelle as a way to transfert funds will be a great move!!!
The app starts with a cryptic error about needing to re-register. I have no idea what it’s talking about. The only options are to fix it or login. “We are unable to find an account with that criteria.” Update: The developer thinks I’m their secretary, and has no interest in fixing their app. UFB would like to paste from iTunes. “We are unable to find an account with that criteria.” This page has an error. Was offered 5.25% interest but saw no interest in my deposits. Called on 4/30 and told interest would be credited 4/30. Called today and was told my was deposited in a “Freedom Checking Account” which pays no interest! The rep transferred my account to. “Money Market Account” with exact same numbers, debit card, details etc. Lost 70 days of interest. Not sure this institution is at all reputable and I would not trust it. Larry Doyle
The app does what it is supposed to and is intuitive. It gets the job done. The only improvement would be faster transfers.
Easy way to earn great interest rates! App is super convenient and easy!
