The setup instructions are pretty meager—but this totally works!
The instructions included within the app for how to set it up and use it are pretty meager at best, but once you get everything set up and running, the app works like a charm. If it might help others, here’s how you can enable and use the extension: // How to enable the extension: 1. First, go to settings → Safari → Extensions, and then scroll down to “URL to QR” (at the bottom of that screen). 2. You’ll see that the extension is currently set to “off”—so first tap on that line, and on the next screen that appears, enable the extension. (The above steps only have to be done once, so once you’ve done those parts, you don’t need to do those steps again.) // How to use the extension once it’s enabled: 1. When you’re in Safari, open any webpage and tap on the puzzle-piece icon (🧩) within the URL bar. 2. From there, scroll down the list of extensions to “URL to QR” and tap on that. That should bring up a QR code for the current URL that anyone can scan with their phone.
