VERSUS: The Lost Ones

I have played quite a number of text-based games, but this game is outrageously great! So much potential and depth of the universe! Buying Book 2 right now. Thank you, Zachary, for marvelous journey.

A very well-written game with a lot of action and thought-through stats and consequences. Make the shadowy figure romancable!

Excuse brevity. Pros: Nice concept, strong world-building, lots of variety in the story nodes. Also like the “Battle Stats” mechanic. The slow-burn choice investment style is cool. Cons: The descriptive passages are too dense and wordy; too much exposition between player interaction. Too often I can hear the writer’s voice rather than the characters, and it takes me out of the game. Nonetheless, intriguing game-book style experience.

Zachary Sergi, are you a published author in the mainstream world? If not, why not? This story eclipses even Heroes Rise in imagination, complexity and inventiveness. I remember most clearly being hammered with a dozen questions and new information in rapid succession, mind racing to take it all in. What a ride. The only beef I have, as ever, is the occasional typo and outright bad grammar, but these are rare. If you would like a proofreader, I’ll gladly volunteer. Brilliant.

Deeply enjoyable game with excellent attention to gender possibilities. I've played through half a dozen times and want to play more. I can't wait for part two!

The writer has clearly put a lot of effort into this, and I was enjoying it right up until a in game character tried to sell me DLC/in app purchase. Completely ruined it for me.

Zachary Sergi, You are a great author!!! I loved every single heroes rise book, everything about them were fantastic. This book is no different!! I loved every page, every sentance, every word! Looking forward to the Second part, Bigtime!!! Theres one thing i really hope for in the send part, is that Oli isnt a bad person, its such a good idea having another person the same as us. Looking forward to the next Heroes Rise aswell. Thanks Zachary for the amazing work. KEEP IT UP!!!!!!

I loved this game! It was a great read, very entertaining and very refreshing to see so many choices and options available. I cannot recommend this enough.
