Science behind affirmations:
As humans, we regularly deal with a lot of negative thoughts. Those thoughts are oftentimes not entirely accurate and affirmations help our brains recognize that. When you say “I am confident”, your brain naturally thinks of examples of times you were confident - this helps counter negative thoughts in a very grounded and authentic way.
