Village Hotels

Doesn’t work, awful experience trying to order room service and subsequently trying to look at the dine inn menu. Told the app which hotel I was staying in but on the next page couldn’t show me a menu because it wanted to know which hotel…. Seriously whoever designed this stole your money and my time!

Truly abysmal app. I’ve wrestled with it for half an hour until I gave up. Looks like the app programmer did the same.

I can’t see the reason for this app as I can’t see my reservation in it and it doesn’t recognise my login details. Useless. I deleted it as it’s a waste of space on my phone.

If you use the app to check in it actually makes it harder as you don’t get a functioning digital room key and then can’t get your room key from the check in tablets so need to speak to staff. If you order drinks with the app the wait is nearly 3 times the length of the biggest queue I have seen at the bar and even takes up to 15 minutes with no one at the bar. Do not expect this to be like the well known Wetherspoons app because it’s not! If it worked then the concept is great, but it does not!! At all!

Trying to order food as advertised in the restaurant. “Order via the app”. Open the app and eventually log in, go to dine, shows no restaurants, can’t search for any, the search and back button don’t respond. Have to force close the app and start again. Still doesn’t work. Staff say yeah it doesn’t work and buggy if it does. Pointless. Don’t have same problems at other restaurants using apps so no reason for this to not work

Flakey, unreliable and a pain to use. OK, those are its good points. I will only stay in a village hotel as a last resort because their app and website are so awful. I'd rather go to IHG or Accor hotels because they actually seem to care about their customers' user experience.

I don’t think anyone has ever tried to use this app. I watched a video about Tevalis Epos on YouTube thought I would head over and see what all the fuss was about. Village hotels the CTO x consultant needs to go consult somewhere else LOL. It is useless. What a great advert for Tevalis and Village hotels make a video how amazing it is expecting something like the David Lloyd app which is perfect to come to try and APP that is the worst app I have ever used in my life .

App is non functional. Unable to view my booking and the back button doesn’t work so you have to kill the app all the time. A lot more work is needed.

This is an appalling app. You try the basics to attempt to book a room and the application randomly shows a video. It’s hyperactive and impossible to do anything with. You also get better prices on Booking and Expedia. Avoid

Tried to check my hotel booking and it wasn’t recognised. Tried to order room service and it wasn’t available, so tried to order food and drink via the app to dine in the restaurant, this also wasn’t available. It would be great to know what the point of this app actually is!
