Vintage Rolex

I expected more detail and history on the watches. It’s just a small picture of each, less than what you get for free on the internet. Huge waste of money, do not buy.

I purchased Vintage Rolex for iPad many years ago, and it was corrupted in my iPad last week by some reason. Then, I had to buy this version since the app required $24.99 by some reason. However, I have purchased again assuming that previously purchased iPad app was expired, this version is for the small screen iPhone, and nowhere near the iPad size version what I have purchased previously. It is almost fraud.

Auro (John Goldberger) app is brilliant for on the go access to superlative Rolex information. I will eventually get the book when I’ve saved up a bit, but for the price and convenience in app format I am very happy.

I spent 25 dollars to see if I could get some information on a Datejust I found. Well, it is not included in the app.

Given the book is $400+ on the secondary market this isn't a bad price. Great pictures and references. A couple of detractors. Buggy: there are times where the loading page locks and I need to reset my phone. Poor UI: difficult to flip from dial to movement to caseback for a particular watch. For example, if I'm looking at a 1601 reference watch and I want to see the movement, I have to exit the watch screen and then find the corresponding caliber on a separate screen. It should really be more seamless.
