Virtual Caddie: Golf Yardages

It’s amazing that most amateurs don’t make much of an effort in figuring out where they’re actually losing shots, and which of those areas are the simplest and fastest to improve.
Take Club Selection as an example.
Think back to your last round how many shots ended pin high? How many finished short of the green?
If you’ve hit a good shot but your shots are ending up over 10 yards away from your target, you hit the wrong club.
If the pin was at the back of the green and you finished in the front of the green, you hit the wrong club.
Accurate club selection is a skill and like any skill it can be learned by anyone, at any age and any ability.
That’s why every pro on every tour in the world has a professional caddie. Club selection is that important, and sometimes hard to work out all the permutations you have to consider.
