With the amount of money this company owns it’s unbelievable how bad of an app they have.
This is the worst app I’ve ever had the misfortune to use. It regularly doesn’t let me log in, meaning I have to delete it & start again. It doesn’t record points which also has an effect on the supposed benefits offered by Vitality. Points (if you’re lucky enough for the app to actually add them) take ages to update. It’s not fit for purpose. The app is meant to be a motivator for keeping fit as well as keeping your premiums lower but it’s useless. I’m sick of having to continuously report missing points. Get it sorted please, I use other apps which work perfectly well, there’s no reason I can see for this one being so abysmal.
This app really is rubbish. It feels to me that Vitality have engineered a system to rob me of hard earned points. First - you have to log in manually to since points from watch to phone at least every 2 weeks or points are lost, never to be refound. Why this can “just work” in the background is beyond me. Second, when trying to sync I often just get the rotating circle of death, or told there’s a problem, come back later… Before you know it I’m looking at a points history that is unpopulated for months and can’t be populated retrospectively. If you want the insurance and don’t care about getting a reduction for hitting a points target, then you’re in luck. If you have dreams of hitting the top tier and seeing a corresponding drop in premiums and rise in rewards, I offer you my condolences. It’s just rubbish.
Going through the process of reporting missing points. I’m following the guide and it asks me to add my membership number from the app. Why can’t it just be imported from my account? Exit the guide and retard. Then each time it asks me to check a setting in the Apple fitness app I leave and come back and it resets to the help page. So I have to start again! It’s very frustrating! Need to improve this
Doesn't sync up with iPhone on a regular basis. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn’t.
The app used to work fine but it only syncs with the step data from my phone about once a week so I have to keep getting points added manually. Now it has logged me out and having entered the correct login details it just says ‘something went wrong’ and try again later. I have tried various fixes found online and nothing works. It seems this started to happen a few months ago and from reading other posts this is a common issue and one that is really frustrating now!
It never consistently records my workouts and I am always having to chase to get my fitness points updated.
For the last few months, my vitality points have not displayed correctly. This is supposed to be an incentive to exercise but it actually becomes frustrating!!!
So clunky, hard to load things and keeps saying there’s errors in what I submit when there doesn’t appear to be. Makes using this work perk near impossible!!!!
