Vively: The Glucose App

This app is meant to pair with Freestyle app that you setup the monitor with but it isn’t working and won’t login to the CGM with Vively.

App is great and has an awesome set of features for monitoring health and blood glucose levels. However I think not having the app write Blood Glucose to the Health app is disappointing. I personally enjoy being able to use the health app as a one stop.

The most recent update is not an improvement. All my favorite meals which I took time to enter accurately have disappeared, and the AI doesn’t accurately assess the meal based on a photo, and the voice recording function doesn’t register a description of the actual weighted contents of a meal. Much prefer the previous version!

Whilst the app works adequately, the installation instructions were not comprehensive or detailed enough to ensure a trouble free configuration. At the end of the process it was not readily known to the user that an additional piece of software was required along with an additional username and login. The food database is no way complete or comprehensive and it’s very difficult to use you take a photo of your meal and nothing happens. Again usability of that component of the software is suboptimal.

As a T2 Diabetic i subscribed and within 15 mins requested a refund. The app doesn’t provide any option to customise targets. It is all based on “the average”. Got a smoke blowing reply from a staffer who ignored my request and repeatedly assured me my feed back was valuable and important. Clearly not as valuable as my $$$ Requesting a refund within 15 minutes of downloading and purchasing an app is pretty clear that it doesn’t make my expectations. Yet their business model clearly being a no refund model relies on these types of purchases. If your product was good, you would refund someone who contacted so quickly with a fair and reasonable the app is not suitable for their needs. I have no respect no time for business That pray on people who are trying to make good health decision by refusing a refund when a product doesn’t meet my expectations. Totally different story if I’ve been using it for a month and requested a refund. I requested within 15 minutes and they didn’t even have the decency to acknowledge it in their reply . The AI robot that replied originally telling me there was no refund before I was connected to a human acknowledge my concerns better than the person they’ve got responding. Stay away stick to your doctor’s advice and use the same app that comes Continuous glucose monitor when you buy it, not this.

I have learnt so much about the different foods and the impact that they have on my blood sugar levels. This information will allow me to make better food choices going forward. Personalised nutrition is key.

Wasted hrs trying to connect. Still didn’t work . In the app you have to get an account with freestyle Libre so it can push the information to Vively 🤦‍♂️. Whats the point . The app doesn’t work properly.

Downloaded the latest update and now the app crashes and won’t even open. Data is inconsistent with the freestyle app. My doctor says to disregard this data and just pay attention to what the freestyle app says as it’s more reliable.

App seems to work well as far as graph and glucose readings but needs work for logging meals, workouts & sleep or better integration with the health app & My Fitness Pal.

The App is not really good at all the food data base is shocking the app often crashes I have had a mum off issue with it uploading exercises from Garmin or Apple health.
