Atlas provides English words in context along with their pronunciation and synonyms. You can do many game like exercises to practice words you've learnt.
No matter how well you speak the English language, you can always learn new words and expand your knowledge of vocabulary.
You can do several game-like exercises to learn words better and collect points to unlock new word sets.
Start at your own level:
You can choose one of the three levels according to your current proficiency level.
Novice (Intermediate)
Independent (Upper- Intermediate)
Expert (Proficient)
You can change your level on your profile.
A variety of exercise types:
Atlas gives you an opportunity to practise words through several tasks.
Matching definitions:
You can do a matching exercise to work on the definitions of words.
Study the synonyms:
You can learn the synonyms of words better through ‘find the synonyms’ and ‘odd one out’ exercises.
Type-in words:
You can further work on the definitions and study the spelling of the words through a fun exercise.
Multiple Choice Practice:
Multiple choice exercises give you a chance to do further practice through different sentences and contexts.
Gap-fill Exercises:
Gap-fill exercises provide you with more context and good practice to make learning even more permanent.
Revision:
Revising what you have learned is extremely important when it comes to language learning and vocabulary retention. On Atlas, you can go back and revise your completed sets and see if you can score better.
Saved Words:
You can access your saved words any time you want on your profile.
Quizzes, Progress Tests and Module Exams:
You can keep track of your progress through the tests we prepared.
Take quizzes every 2 sets; do the progress tests every 5 sets; and take the module exams every 10 sets.
Categories:
Learning words in categories helps you thematically link the words together, so you remember them more easily. It also promotes accelerated vocabulary learning, which leads to expansion of your vocabulary in a shorter time. Atlas presents vocabulary items in categories to make learning more permanent and contribute to vocabulary growth. You can immediately start learning words from the free categories or buy more categories to learn words in context!
Subscription and Pricing:
If you choose to purchase, payment will be applied to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions will automatically renew unless canceled within 24-hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel anytime with your iTunes account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial will be forfeited if you purchase a subscription.

Need to cancel premium subscription
I can't cancel premium subscription, please help me!!!!!!
It’s great app but…
Thank you a lot for this app! There is a nice design and really good tasks for practice but I can’t listen to some words and phrases and I don’t know why 🥲
Very good
Nice functionality, on the other hand the only possible payment is the yearly one, which is rather expensive. I would’ve preferred to pay by month.
No bulk import
I’d like to be able to bulk import words into journal from csv files. Reported to developer, but haven’t got feedback.

Best app to learn new words
Another great app ruled by money
The concept behind this app is fabulous. Seriously a brilliant way to spend screen time, especially as a young writer; I’m always looking to expand my vocabulary. This app gives more structure to learning new words and their uses than simply opening a dictionary and flicking through, the tailored approach to easing you into new, less common words that are handy to know, is a great way for me to learn. Then comes the problem of being limited by money. I understand that developers require funds to maintain and work on these apps, however i feel that genuine educational content is few and far between online and especially on the app store, and so making this more accessible would only be a positive thing. I feel that the app should offer a broader experience before asking for payment, instead of requiring me to pay to store more than just 2 learned words in my in-app diary. Perhaps I would be willing to pay it if i had a better idea how deep the app goes, because I will happily spend money on education materials before I will on much else, but I do think the free version is much too limited to know if it’s worth paying for. I don’t want to put this app down, it really is fantastic, but I have removed a star for the purpose i stated. It’s a shame that an app with such potential to expand minds and increase communication capacities in all ages, seems to be backed by the same money -focused agenda we see every day in endless advertisements. An app like this should be a mental escape, a place to learn and to do so in peace, to encourage focus, not to make money. I’m truly sorry for this slightly negative review but this was a tad disappointing for me.
Not sure yet
I brought this app as it said it could teach me to spell. I am dyslexic so talking into my phone for this review. I have found myself being able to spell some of the words already but time will tell.
