Vocalist: Learn to Sing

everything is slow, ive known ive had perfect pitch for a long time, even being able to mimic some artists voices, but the app just doesnt pick up my vocals well, even if im on perfect key. its very slow.

While the app looks very pretty and quite functional (technically speaking), it leaves a lot to be desired. It asks me the start up questions EVERY time I open it, THEN it allows me to log in and view my progress. It would be nice to be able to sign in right away, even as a first time user, BEFORE asking me why I want to sing. I speak at an alto level but often sing at a Soprano level. Even when I got it to understand that my range is more soprano, it constantly tried to get me to sing lower (often to the point that it hurt to try). There is no way to manually adjust the range to fit me. It is supposed to make it easier to hear the tones I can sing to in any song, not just to be able to match the tone the song is in. I often match the song I’m singing but I wanted to learn to harmonize better. It would be nice to be able to jump to that kind of lesson. I don’t need to know where my voice is or how to match the song or how to fit with a different tempo (the songs often feel faster than the original versions, making it hard to get a breath in). I wanted to learn to find harmony but I wasn’t about to wade through basic beginners lessons on how to START singing. Even when I answered the start up questions as if I had a lot of background in singing and did it all the time, there was not a direct choice of lesson that led me to learn about harmonies.

On the breathing exercises and it tells you to make a “sssss” sound for 10 seconds and I have done it and timed myself but it says I haven’t reached 10 seconds. I can’t continue on because of this.

I have been in singing classes for a year and done 3 concerts. When I get to this app and try to do the exercise it just tells me EVERY note I hit is wrong. Make that make sense. And it’s a song I know and commonly sing.

I’m very disappointed because I can’t move onto diagfram without paying for it it said it was free I’m very mad at this
