Vocalizer is an app that plays vocal exercise for you so you can sing along to warm up your voice.
Have you ever wanted to practice your singing but couldn't because there wasn't any piano or anyone to play the scales for you? Vocalizer was made exactly for those kinds of situations.
Simply choose your vocal range, select an exercise, and start singing. If you don't know your vocal range, Vocalizer can help you find it out by recording your lowest and highest notes.
You can control the tempo of the exercise, loop over a difficult part, or repeat the exercise in needed. You can control the playback as much as in any other music app. The app plays the exercise even while it's in the background.
There are over 40 exercise to singing, organized into five categories: Major scales, Minor scales, Pentatonic Scales, Chromatic and Interval Training. If you're a beginner, don't complicate yourself: select one of the Major scales.
There is no need to configure anything. It's very easy to use. Just select an exercise and start singing. No more excuses to skip practice sessions!

It doesn’t open

The app closes itself instantly after opening it

Solid app.

I play piano, but was looking for something for my students to use at home. Pros: - customizable range and tempo (thank god) - major and minor, great for ear training - allows repetition of one spot in a scale, which is cool if you hit a problem area in your range Cons: - midi sound is kind of meh - ear training piece is kind of weird - every once in a while the tempo glitches It’s great for my purposes, though!

Would have liked to try it

I would have liked to try this app, my daughter was looking for something to try and I was looking for her, however this app wouldn’t even open. I clicked and it would pop a loading screen and then crash. Never could get it open even after trying to reinstall it.

Excellent App

This is an excellent app, it has helped me do my vocal exercises routine easily and consistently. The app gives a lot of options for exercises that are really helpful, going from an beginner exercise to more complex ones, and also allows you an extension for each vocal type or you could just choose your own extension. However some exercises I would like to do slower than the tempo given and some faster, I wish there was a feature that I could change the tempo of the exercises. It would also be very helpful if there was a Portuguese version of the app, I am Brazilian and my Vocal Coach recommended this app to me, so probably other students of hers have had this app recommended as well, and not many people can read English, so I guess it would be very helpful to people still learning Vocal techniques and Music Theory. Well, that’s all I have to say about the app, it is an amazing and very helpful app, thank you everyone who helped develop this!

Almost perfect warm up app

Really really love this app. It is literally what I was looking for. I do have two suggestions for improvement - remember tempo setting between sessions and to keep the tempo consistent between sets. The next set feels like it happens about a quarter beat too soon. Thank you for providing this app!
